Dr. Jeffrey Mishlove - I currently serve as Dean of Programs for a distant learning college called The University of Philosophical Research. It is affiliated with the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles. We offer masters degrees in consciousness studies and in transformational psychology. Naturally, I am very interested in both areas. I am also president of a nonprofit organization called the Intuition Network. Our goal is to help create a world where everyone is encouraged to cultivate and apply their inner, intuitive abilities.
I have been a writer, television host and producer, psychotherapist, businessman and researcher of extraordinary human capacities and psychic abilities. My newest book is called The PK Man: A True Story of Mind Over Matter. It is the story of a 20 year field investigation I conducted with a man who had extraordinary psychokinetic/precognitive abilities.
From 1988 to 2002, my weekly television program, Thinking Allowed, has been shown throughout the United States. During this period I have conducted hundreds of interviews with leading figures in psychology, philosophy, science, health and spirituality.

I hold a unique doctoral diploma in "Parapsychology" from the University of California at Berkeley . Awarded in 1980, it remains the only doctoral diploma in parapsychology ever awarded by an accredited, American university.
I am author of three previous books. The Roots of Consciousness: Psychic Exploration Through History, Science and Experience was originally published in 1975 by Random House. Since then it has been widely used as a college text for introductory courses in consciousness exploration. A second, revised edition was published in 1993 by Council Oak Books of Tulsa, OK. My second book, Psi Development Systems, based on his doctoral dissertation was released in 1983 as a Ballantine paperback. It is an evaluation of ancient and modern methods for training extrasensory abilities. My third book, Thinking Allowed, released by Council Oak Books, is a collection of thirty-two interviews from the television series.
I am past-president of the California Society for Psychical Study and past-vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology. I am currently a member of the American Psychological Association and the Parapsychological Association.
I also serve as Executive Director of two management consulting and training companies, TMI US and Branded Customer Service. My primary involvement in these companies is to support my wife, Janelle Barlow, whose expertise is the basis upon which they were developed.
