Cheryl Canfield is a Life and Wellness counselor, a teacher of spiritual principles, and peace proponent (inner as well as outer). She is a nationally known inspirational speaker and workshop leader, integrating her background in spirituality and psychology to assist others in exploring areas of personal growth and healing.
Current President of Friends of Peace Pilgrim, a non-profit organization, she is co-compiler of Peace Pilgrim: Her Life and Work in Her Own Words, a spiritual classic with over 500,000 copies in print, and compiler and editor of the book Peace Pilgrims Wisdom, an inspiring collection of seed thoughts from Peaces lectures and writings. She met Peace in 1976, at which time Peace became a beloved friend and mentor until her death in 1981.
She is the author of Profound Healing: The Power of Acceptance on the Path to Wellness, a down-to-earth account of her journey as she confronts a diagnosis of advanced cancer in 1989. Turning down proposed radical surgeries, she focused her attention on attempting to come to a place of inner peace before dying. In the process she became well. Her subsequent reflections on physical, emotional and spiritual healing are summarized into twelve self-help steps.
Life Changes Show
Come and join the conversation about what's going on and what we can do together about it, with it, and for it. We have the choice, we have the power. We can do magic if we just believe!
A show about the changes going on in us, to us, around us, and because of us. Therefore, it's technically a show about "Everything," only with a how to make it better, see it better, be better.
In the show, there is talk about, and with, people who have either been through major changes, are helping others with major changes, or people who are changing the world for the better in a major way.
The show is a one-hour talk show format with a monologue by the host, a 30 minute interview with a guest of note, capped by a "Producer's Wrap" segment, in which Filippo and Co-Host Mark Laisure, and sometimes surprise guests, bring it all home for the listeners in a sometimes humorous and sometimes touching, but always entertaining conversation.
