Dr. Rebecca Carley received the Samuel L. Kountz Award for clinical exellence in surgery. She was on the staff of both the Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She left the practice of general surgery and allopathic medicine after realizing that many of the operations being performed on the patients (most of whom were very poor) were clearly experimental in nature, This was Dr. Carleys wake up call. She then began to research Alternative Medicine and the use of vaccines to distribute disease among the American population. She will be speaking this evening on the dangers surrounding vaccines and other controversial topics.

She also wrote a column on holistic health for the Asheville Citizen Times.
