Futuristic Caveman Official is a cinematic ambient synth music artist birthed during an uncertain time where everyone on the planet was questioning their professional future, and some their biological future. Under a different name, representing a completely different music genre, the artist behind the mask had been a professional touring artist since 2004. 

Along the road of accumulating a list of notable accomplishments in the music business, everything came to a screeching halt. Fast forward, to  2020, and the world is all but shutdown in the throws of the pandemic. With the future of in-person concerts appearing bleak, the need for a new kind of artistic expression arose.

Unwilling to go without a musical creative outlet, the artist built a home studio comprising of a few analog synthesizers and the ability to record them. What would result is a handful of instrumental ideas that sounded like they should be the soundtrack of epic sci-fi films.

The rich, analog tones were reminiscent of those synthesizer albums pioneered in mid 70’s and 80’s by artists such as Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel-Jarre. It was like being snagged by a sonic hook. Diving deep into this muse, a new identity began to take form; as well as a minor addiction to world-class analog synthesizers. The artist Futuristic Caveman Official was born.

The newest album, CONNECTIONS is a sweet, deep, cosmic journey. Based primarily on drones, the album does feature moments of F.C.O. signature anthemic leads and beautiful melodic keyboard work.
