A Peruvian Spiritual Leader and Shaman
Puma Fredy Quispe Singona was trained by his grandfather, Don Maximo, in the mastery of Andean ceremonies and rituals. As a spiritual leader both in his own community of Chinchero, Peru, and in international gatherings and spiritual journeys, he has a passion for the teachings of his people and a profound respect for the global awakening of human consciousness. He has attended and facilitated numerous international gatherings of spiritual leaders and young leaders, is recognized globally as a holder of ancient lineage and wisdom with the power to inspire people in his special heartfelt way to connect with. Puma works with youth groups and has a natural ability to connect with ancestral Spirits, Cosmic forces, and natural elementals that assist him in his global healing path. As tour guide to the natural wonders and sacred sites of Peru and the Quechua world, he has deep reverence for the traditions and values of the ancient Andean cultures.
Former Police Officer and Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Social Worker
Dr. Conn is a former police officer, as well as the daughter and wife of police officers, and currently works as a Licensed Psychologist, specializing in first responder stress, trauma, and resilience. She supports first responder agencies with peer support, and mental health training. She contributes her expertise to national policy development relating to peer support and clinician cultural competency. She has presented widely to first responders, sharing wisdom gained from her police experience, her research, and her therapy practice. She is the author of Increasing Resilience in Police and Emergency Personnel.
Craig is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in OR and WA. His clinical training is crisis and trauma focused. Craig did 7 seasons in wildland on handcrews, rappel and short-haul crews throughout the PNW with an additional 5 years as a volunteer with 3 years as a resident for a rural district outside of Kennewick, WA. Craig merged firefighting and mental health as he rode along with Spokane Fire Department as a ‘co-deployed’ first responder. In that role, he got a strong sense of the increasing level of difficulty some of the calls entail as he responded alongside a Spokane Fire paramedic to try to resolve emergency behavioral health calls.
Colorado Representative House District 15
Dave grew up in a military family where hard work and sacrifice were taught. It is here that he learned the importance of our country and its impact on the world. A deep commitment to faith, patriotism, and civic duty are the cornerstones of his upbringing, as well as continual sources of strength and guidance.
Dave met his wife, Emily, his senior year of high school. They dated during their early years of college and married shortly after. They had their first child in December 2016.
He has served in several leadership capacities in both small business and local politics. Dave currently serves as Vice-President of Logistics for a manufacturing support services company where he helps bring businesses together to find tailored solutions for their customers.
From 2011-2013, Dave served as Vice-Chairman of the El Paso County Republican Party. While serving, he showed a steadfast commitment to the cause of liberty and freedom. Dave believes we need to encourage and hold accountable our elected representatives to support such principles.
In 2016, Dave was the first Latino elected to House District 15. He is providing new energy and enthusiasm that will help strengthen our community and Colorado. Dave is committed to working with the grassroots to further the cause of liberty and ensure that freedom is passed on to future generations.
District Attorney
This month, Colorado Law is proud to honor prominent Denver-based alum, George Brauchler ('95). Brauchler is currently serving as the district attorney for the 18th Judicial District, the largest judicial district in the state with more than 930,000 residents in Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln Counties. A veteran litigator, Brauchler has taken more than 140 trials to verdict in state, federal, and military court over the past eighteen years, including several of the state’s most publicized cases. In addition, he has also been a regular adjunct faculty member of the University of Denver College of Law, Colorado Law, and the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy JAG Schools, earning a reputation as one of the most prolific lecturers and trainers on trial advocacy in the nation.
Brauchler, who is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, has served as Chief of Military Justice for Fort Carson, and with the 4th Infantry Division and the U.S. Division-North in Iraq.
