Executive Director and FDNY Honorary Battalion Chief and HeartMath Coach and Trainer
Eve has always been a part of the first responder and military community. Her grandfather, father, and husband were all proud members of the FDNY, and military veterans. She is honored to hold the rank of Honorary Battalion Chief within the New York City Fire Department. Eve was married to her best friend Ron for 23 years. His death on 9/11 is what led to the creation of StandFast Alliance. The lessons he taught and influences he had helped shape the work she and others bring to the organization today. Additionally, she has family and friends in law enforcement and is a military mom. Eve has worked as a registered nurse, licensed massage therapist, and HeartMath Coach and Trainer. From an early age she saw what a difference having a resilient outlook in life made. After the challenges of 9/11, her focus became centered on providing resiliency tools and training to the members and families of the first responder and military community. Sharing what she learned about creating a mindset that responds to challenges as opposed to just reacting to them is her passion. She loves giving back to this community that means so much to her.
Colorado GOP candidate for US Senate
Erik was born into an Army family as the son of Major General (Ret) Anders and Sandra Aadland. Moving over 21 times, Erik graduated from High School in Heidelberg, Germany, then went on to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. Graduating in 2002 not long after 9/11, Erik was commissioned an Army officer and went on to serve with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, during which he received two Bronze Stars (one for valor).
Aadland left the Army as a Captain in 2011 to pursue a career in the Oil and Natural Gas industry, which culminated as a Project Manager managing the onshore construction of the Leviathan Project in Dor, Israel. After leaving his company in 2020, Erik finished his Master’s degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Depth Psychology and chose to dedicate himself to the political arena.
With the country’s future imperiled by a corrupt establishment, Aadland once again feels called to honor his oath to defend the Constitution by running for U.S. Senate, committed to putting Colorado first.
Erik’s proudest accomplishment is his marriage of 15 years out of which he has three children (including a newborn). He currently resides in the lovely front range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and never intends to move again.
Founder and President of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, Civil Rights Advocate, religious and political figures
The Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., founder and president of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, is one of America’s foremost civil rights, religious and political figures. Over the past 40 years, he has played a pivotal role in virtually every movement for empowerment, peace, civil rights, gender equality and economic and social justice.
Rev. Jackson deferred his theological studies when he began working full-time in the Civil Rights Movement with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Rev. Jackson’s two presidential campaigns broke new ground in U.S. politics. His 1984 campaign registered more than one million new voters, won 3.5 million votes and helped the Democratic Party regain control of the Senate in 1986. His 1988 campaign registered more than two million new voters, won seven million votes and helped boost hundreds of state and local elected officials into office.
In 1991, Rev. Jesse Jackson was elected United States Senator for Washington, DC, advocating for statehood for the nation’s capital and advancing the “rainbow” agenda at the national and international levels. Since then, he has continued to promote voter registration and lead get out-the-vote campaigns, believing that everyone should be encouraged to be a responsible, informed and active voter. He has spearheaded major organizing tours through Appalachia, Mississippi, California and Georgia.
On August 9, 2000, President Bill Clinton awarded Rev. Jackson the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
Rev. Jackson has been called the “Conscience of the Nation” and “the Great Unifier” challenging America to be inclusive and to establish just and humane priorities for the benefit of all. He is known for bringing people together on common ground across lines of race, culture, class, gender and belief.
For his work in human and civil rights and nonviolent social change, Rev. Jackson has received more than 40 honorary doctorate degrees and frequently lectures at major colleges and universities including Howard, Yale, Princeton, Morehouse, Harvard, Columbia, Stanford and Hampton.
