Deputy Fire Chief and Paramedic and Expert in Critical Incident Debriefing and Peer Support
Deputy Fire Chief Bernie Meehan has been Involved in fire and EMS for over 45 years, active in both the career and volunteer fields, and has worked in the Career fire service for 35 years. He has been an Active Paramedic for the past 38 years, and was one of the paramedics responding to the Sandy Hook shooting.
Bernie has participated in over 400 critical incident debriefings and is a founding member of Connecticut CISD Team. Chief Meehan is a Peer Helper trained in both fire and law enforcement disciplines.

Dana Golden is the co-author of, Addiction Rescue; The NO-BS Guide to Recovery, and a nationally known advocate for families struggling with Alcohol, Process, or Substance Use Disorder. She is a Certified Family Addiction Coach, Certified Recovery Coach, and public speaker.

Joey Zente is a Marine Corps Veteran & Veterans Jiu-Jitsu Founder and Leader of the Austin area VJJ Club, who assists with the Warriors Heart Jiu Jitsu Training Program (with Warriors Heart CEO Josh Lannon). Zente started training jiu-jitsu in 2009 after completing his four year enlistment in the Marine Corps. Zente received his blue and purple belts from Ronny Lis, brown belt from Robert "Dutra" Moreira, and in 2016 earned the rank of black belt from Chris Haueter. Zente currently runs an organization called Veterans Jiu-Jitsu, which provides free training opportunities for active duty military, veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. Veterans Jiu-Jitsu is an organization dedicated to building communities of veterans around the world through the physical and mental training of jiu-jitsu. Zente has also been instrumental in building the Warriors Heart Jiu Jitsu Training Program in Bandera, Texas, to help military, veterans and first responders heal with fellow warriors who are struggling with addiction, PTSD, mild TBI, depression, trauma and co-occurring issues. Barnett "Barney" Frank served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the 4th district of Massachusetts for 16 terms (1981-2013). A Democrat, Frank served as chairman of the House Financial Services Committee (2007-2011) and was a leading co-sponsor of the 2010 Dodd–Frank Act. Frank, a resident of Newton, Massachusetts, was considered the most prominent gay politician in the United States during his time in Congress.
Born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey, Frank graduated from Bayonne High School, Harvard College and Harvard Law School. He worked as a political aide before winning election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1972. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1980 with 52% of the vote. He was re-elected every term thereafter by wide margins. In 1987, he publicly came out as gay, becoming the first member of Congress to do so voluntarily.
From 2003 until his retirement, Frank was the leading Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee, and he served as committee chairman when his party held a House majority (2007-2011). In July 2012, he married his long-time partner, James Ready, becoming the first member of Congress to marry someone of the same sex while in office. Frank did not seek re-election in 2012 and was succeeded by fellow Democrat Joe Kennedy III.
Frank's autobiography, A Life in Politics from the Great Society to Same-Sex Marriage, was published in 2015.
Prior to his time in the House of Representatives, Frank served in the Massachusetts Senate (1979-1981). He also served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives (1973-1979).
