Episode 3 – Fascia: The Hidden Web of Connection

Imagine a spider sitting quietly at the centre of its web. When something touches one part of the web, the entire structure responds and the movement in one area creates ripples throughout the whole system. The spider does not need to see every strand. It senses what is happening through connection.

Imagine two students working together on a science project. Earlier in the day, during lunch, they had an argument on the soccer field and harsh words were exchanged and their feelings were hurt. The bell rang and both students returned to class.

Why connection comes before content

In many education systems, learning is often treated as the transfer of information. A teacher delivers knowledge, and the learner is expected to absorb it. Yet anyone who has spent time with children or young people knows that learning is rarely this simple.
