I first got in to making music when I was fifteen, two of my friends had a band and needed a bass player. I didn’t have a bass for the first few practices, but once I’d raised enough for an old Aria Pro 2 pointy headstock bass my family agreed to buy me a small amp and off I went.
We wrote our own material, mainly rocky stuff (our demo got reviewed in Kerrang!), but most of what we did was covers.
WORLD5
“POP ROCK WITH A GLOBAL INFLUENCE”
WORLD5 started with five close friends who are professional musicians.
I’m not quite sure when I realized God wanted me, but I know I’ve been running all my life. But, everywhere I went, there was a rep for my Lord and Savior waiting for me! I ran, drugged, loved, and made my life all about me! Big mistake...if God wants you, he’s gonna get you. And now he has me, ALL OF ME!!! My music is given to me from Him and it’s made to bring glory to Him.
When art can’t be pigeonholed or pinned down, it elevates the very medium itself. Dead Defined thrives on that sort of unpredictability, standing confidently at a crossroads between anthemic hard rock infectiousness and thought-provoking technically-charged industrial pop. Think a cross between the mind-numbing musical malevolence of american super group Filter and Alice in Chains' timeless irresistibility, and you’re halfway there.
Charity Shop Vinyl (CSV) are a five piece indie band from Derry- Ireland. We have supported popular bands such as Foreign Owl and Mosmo strange, as well as headlining two sold out Nerve Centre gigs. We have sold out our first edition band shirts, and we are currently working on a new design for new band merchandise. We are also currently recording at The Blast furnace recording studio in Derry for our first EP, so that our fans can enjoy our music on their phones, as much as they enjoy at our gigs. We are also currently in the battle of the bands in Derry, and aim to reach the final.
Good day
Which would be the best way to submit music?
