'Love Shouldn't Hurt NY, Inc.' is a Domestic Violence Awareness and Support Group. LSH is comprised of victims, survivors and supporters. After surviving two abusive relationships, I, Melissa Holmes, started LSH as a secret group on the social networking site, Facebook. I was looking for an arena to vent, post and provide support for people who have also suffered abuse. LSH started with about 30 members, we now have well over 1000 members worldwide.
Adam Lankford is a criminal justice professor at The University of Alabama.
He conducts research on many types of social deviance and criminal behavior, including mass murder, mass shootings, terrorism, and sexual assault.
Dr. Lankford is the author of two books, and he has published articles in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He has also written for The New York Times, Foreign Policy, Wired, The Daily Beast, New Scientist, The Mail on Sunday, Scientific American, and The Huffington Post.
Dr Yasuyuki Nemoto received a Doctor of Science in Cellular & Molecular Biology from University of Tokyo in 1988. After working for several universities in Japan, Miami and Honolulu in the fields of biology and biotechnology, he started to work for the late Dr. Masaru Emoto in 2002 as his international secretary. Dr Nemoto joined Dr Emoto on lecture tours in more than 25 different countries all over the world in the past 13 years.
Rev. Steven Johnson Leyba is a ritualistic, shamanistic painter of Mescalero Apache ancestry. His art is equal parts satanic, holistic, radical, political, and extremely personal. Utilizing various media, Leyba creates a celebration of the sacred and profane. Paint mixes with collage, beadwork, and DNA making bold statements about the world we live in, constantly questioning the very nature of Art.
HEIDI HONG
Heidi’s sense of adventure is infectious; from the adrenaline of free fall skydiving to trekking Machu Pichu to scuba diving and exploring the depths of the ocean, she loves it all. With her BFA in Design and Marketing, she created a virtual communication design firm that specializes in branding, print, web, video, photography, and social media solutions. To create balance in her digital world, she studied Yoga Therapy at Loyola Marymount University where she received her 500-hr Yoga Teacher Certification.
Laura Legere’s focus of service and purpose is assisting people with healthy living, personal growth and spiritual exploration through her private practice as a massage therapist and teacher of natural healing in essential oils. She has always been a gifted networker as well as a great storyteller and loves to point people in a purposeful positive direction.
THE ZIBBZ
The Zibbz are a sister / brother duo from the Swiss side of the Alps. Their music is electronically infused blues rock with a massive live backbeat and quirky synth-driven production by Stee Zibb. Front woman Coco Zibb can wail with the best of them. Her voice is a mix of Pink and Janis Joplin, providing the perfect mix of pop and raw emotional growl that makes for hit records.
Their love for music developed at an early age, growing up in a household of musicians, watching mom and dad play in rock n’ roll bands.
DAVID RESNICK
David Resnick is a technology entrepreneur who creates impactful, playful, and community-building experiences. He is the CEO and co-founder of Bestr, an app to get the best recommendations from the right people. He is also the chief evangelist and co-founder of Stutter Social, an online community that uses Google Hangouts to host support groups across 40 countries. Google made press efforts on behalf on the organization (Forbes, LA Times) and promoted Stutter Social on social media and their internal company newsletter.
Born and raised in Indiana, Liz Fohl started her musical career at a young age, recording various songs and performing around the city. At 18 years of age, she ventured out of her home state to pursue her musical passion at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Liz studied songwriting, music production and music business all while innovating, developing and tuning a foundation for her unique and creative musical career. So far, she has toured internationally and all over the United States.

Born and raised in Geelong by European immigrant parents, I first became a journalist and editor, writing professionally for newspapers and magazines, before running my own family business. I’ve also been busy raising my sons, Kristofer and Matthew who are young men now.
