Shamala saw that an entirely different lifestyle is necessary in order to fulfill her life's mission and it was then that she chanced upon the work of Dr Joshua David Stone. Shamala felt an immediate connection with Dr Stone's work and have been working with Dr Stone since. Even now upon Dr Stone's passing to the spirit world, Shamala who is based in Singapore, continues to be a spiritual teacher, counselor, healer and channel for the ascended masters with the I AM University which is founded by Dr Stone.

Dr Stone was a highly regarded leading spokesperson for the planetary ascension movement.
