Sandra Ingerman, MA, is the author of eight books including Soul Retrieval, Medicine for the Earth, Shamanic Journeying: A Beginner’s Guide, How to Heal Toxic Thoughts, The Shaman’s Toolkit, andAwakening to the Spirit World: The Shamanic Path of Direct Revelation.  She also has 6 audio programs including “Shamanic Meditations: Guided Journeys for Insight, Vision, and Healing”, “Soul Journeys: Music for Shamanic Practice”, and “Shamanic Visioning”.

Sandra has been teaching for over 30 years. She teaches workshops internationally on shamanic journeying, healing, and reversing environmental pollution using spiritual methods.  She has trained and founded an international alliance of Medicine for the Earth Teachers and shamanic teachers.  Sandra is recognized for bridging ancient cross-cultural healing methods into our modern culture addressing the needs of our times.

Sandra is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist and Professional Mental Health Counselor. She is also a board certified expert on traumatic stress as well as certified in acute traumatic stress management. She was awarded the 2007 Peace Award from the Global Foundation for Integrative Medicine. Sandra was chosen as one of the Top Ten Spiritual Leaders of 2013 in the November/December Issue of Spirituality and Health.

Don Miguel Ruiz was born into a humble family with ancient traditions in rural Mexico, the youngest of 13 children. He considers himself very lucky, as this was where he learned from an early age that everything is possible, if we really want it.

His parents, Don Jose and Dona Sarita, as well as his grandfather, Don Leonardo, all believed that Miguel would continue their legacy in the centuries old Toltec tradition. Instead Don Miguel attended medical school, and became a surgeon.

For several years he practiced neurosurgery with his brothers, and he realized that what needed to be healed was not only the physical brain, but the human mind as well.

A near fatal car accident changed the direction of Don Miguel’s life. He experienced himself as pure awareness outside of the constraints of his physical body. He realized that the Toltec wisdom of his family contained all of the tools needed to change the human mind. Don Miguel promptly returned to his mother to finish his training and he became a Shaman.

Don Miguel moved to the United States to share his wisdom, and spent the next 15 years exploring ways to heal and change the human mind. He witnessed his students struggling to quiet their minds and sought to create tools to assist them. The result of this quest was The Four Agreements®. This book contains a specific series of practical steps, that when used by anyone, can result in consistent and long-term personal transformation.

In February of 2002, Don Miguel suffered a near-fatal heart attack. The damage from the heart attack and subsequent coma left him with a heart functioning at only 16% of capacity and in constant pain. Don Miguel would not accept his doctor’s prognosis that he would be restricted to an inactive life of resting at home. He personally embodied the message he shares, by continuing to joyfully live his life, sharing his message through books, lectures and journeys. Though he was enjoying life he also knew that he was slowly dying and focused on preparing his sons to carry on his legacy.

In 2009 Don Miguel’s body began to deteriorate much more rapidly and he applied for a heart transplant. In August 2010 he was put on the transplant waiting list. On October 9th 2010, Don Miguel successfully received a heart transplant. For Don Miguel this is a new beginning and with deep gratitude and generosity he is eager to share his message with all of humanity.

In the tradition of the Toltec, a Nagual (shaman) guides an individual to personal freedom. After exploring the human mind from a Toltec as well as scientific perspective, Don Miguel has combined old wisdom with modern insights and created a new message for all mankind, based in truth and common sense. He has dedicated his life to sharing this new message through practical concepts that promote transformation. His message is simple and when implemented, even incrementally, changes lives.

Don Miguel is highly respected throughout the world. He has received numerous recognitions, including a US Air Force challenge coin engraved with The Four Agreements, and he is referenced as a National Heirloom of Mexico.

The Four Agreements®, published in 1997; was a New York Times bestseller for more than 7 years and the 36th bestselling book of the decade. Other books have followed; The Mastery of Love, The Voice of Knowledge, Prayers, Beyond Fear and The Fifth Agreement, a collaboration with his son Don Jose. • "Tuvan Shamanic Healing" (audio CD) Tuvan Shaman Ai-Churek Oiun learned the ancient art of throat singing directly through her relationship with the drum and the spirits. The drumming style used by Ai-Churek is not typical of Tuvan shamanism and is distinctive to her. This healing ritual was recorded in California during a workshop sponsored by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. A circle of healing, rich in vibratory overtones, is woven by this one female voice, her drum and her dream.

I recently retired as the Vice President of the non-profit foundation, Native Cultural Alliance, which provides educational programs and health supplies to a district in the Brazilian Amazon Rain Forrest.

My various articles include, "Healing and Trance Dancing in Grenada", "In the Words of the Shaman", and "Shamanic Response to an Allergic Reaction".

My work was featured in an article in September, 2003 issue of SELF magazine, titled "A New Prescription for Happiness" by Deb Abramson. The section about my practice is called "Shamanic Healing - The Chanting Cure"

In 2004, I prayed for a vision that my highest service would be offered in the years ahead. What I received was something I could not have imagined: Spirit told me that I would be entrusted to bring together some of "her most precious jewels" into a single basket.

Those jewels are the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers – a council of elders from around the world that came together with great beauty and remarkable synchronicities. Through connecting with these elders, I discovered that this Council had been the subject of many ancient prophecies, all of which agree that they are to play a prominent role in global healing at this time.

For the last years, we have traveled to each others’ homelands for collective rituals that are committed to healing work, as well as to visit with leaders such as the Dalai Lama. Everywhere we have gone, profound, magical, amazing transformations have happened.

I have become clear that this circle is divinely guided, that the lineages they offer are a key for collective transformation and that they are giving us a profound medicine for our times. That’s why I have committed my entire life to advancing their work.

When we did our first virtual Grandmothers Solstice call with The Shift Network, 20,000 people responded from around the world – a remarkable outpouring of love, prayer and blessing. Now, we are working to bring more of their wisdom to people who cannot travel to a live circle and who want to go deeper than a book or DVD.

That’s why all the Grandmothers are excited by this virtual gathering, which offers them a way to share their wisdom and support our collective work, so that together we can all contribute to the healing and growth for our planet.

I cannot promise you exactly what you will learn or what they will teach. So often, their guidance is immediate, spontaneous, and in the moment. So the "curriculum" will be looser than you might expect for a virtual offering.

But what I’ve seen is that the spontaneous healings that come from entering into a space of reverence and prayer together are life-changing and well worth it.
