My name’s Jordan Pratt. I write alternative pop with singer-songwriter/folk, rock, and electronic elements. Influences include artists like Ed Sheeran, Bon Iver, and Ben Folds.
This song is from my upcoming EP “The Radio and the Sea” which will be released in February, 2020. “Permission" was released as a single on November 15th, 2019. “Permission” is about living authentically, and how people sometimes react negatively to that authenticity. It’s a song about conviction, and a bit of a lament that not everyone will see the beauty in your journey.
