An airline pilot for 36 years, Laura co-founded AE4HF to combat employer vaccine mandates and defend employee Title VII & ADA civil rights. Her compassion as a mother and leadership skills as a captain have united thousands across the various transportation industries. Her quest to defend constitutional and civil rights for future generations is her driving passion.
While earning her BS in Aviation at Louisiana Tech University, Laura served as an advanced flight instructor. She is a member of the International Society of Women Airline Pilots.
Captain Cox served on various union committees for the the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA). As Family Awareness Coordinator, she presented contractual information to pilots and their families building unity and helping them navigate the complex obligations and benefits available under the collective bargaining agreement. Laura also represented her co-workers on the local Legislative Affairs Committee developing skills to liaison with state and federal officials while advancing the legislative priorities of all ALPA members.
The Spring, TX native has been married to Martin Cox for 31 years. Their son, Will, is a Finance honor student and pitcher for the Lamar University Cardinals. A long-time activist for parental rights and children’s health choices, Laura proudly stands for medical choice.
