Michael Van Meter has seen first-hand the devastating effects of addiction on the public, himself, and his profession. Michael began his career as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy. After eight years, he became a Corrections Officer, Washington DC Police Officer, and then FBI Agent. In 2010, Michael became an instructor at the FBI Academy.

In 2013, he created a course titled “Leading At-Risk Employees” geared toward Police Executives to help them understand alcoholism, prescription drug abuse, PTSD, suicide, and domestic violence as it relates to policies and procedures for their agencies worldwide. In 2019, Michael retired from the FBI but his passion for helping others continued. He is currently working on a Master’s in Addiction Counseling: Integrated Recovery for Co-Occurring Disorders from the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. Pulling from his personal and professional experience, Michael shares his thoughts on this sensitive, complex, and controversial subject.

Today we are talking with Wes Roberts who is an alien abductee and experiencer.  Wes Roberts is also a 30+-year contract college professor who teaches computer technology, business writing and office procedures at two of the largest colleges in Canada. In the late 1980s Wes had a remarkable experience which, over 20 years, was identified as an alien abduction. Today, as an abductee his passion is to spread the word to help others come to terms with their own potential alien encounters, and to tell others “We are not from here.” Alongside numerous alien experiences, Wes spent several active years in a paranormal research institute with psychic abilities; he is also trained in remote viewing and a life-long magician. Wes co-hosted and periodically appeared as a guest on Lesley Mitchell-Clarke’s BlogTalkRadio Contact Together show. Wes and Lesley co-wrote the book, Intersections: A True Story of Extraterrestrial Contact. Wes wrote his second book, called An Experiencer’s Garden. Wes has appeared on numerous podcasts, YouTube, and live radio. Mr. Roberts lives in Toronto, Canada, with his partner, Ana.

Larry Grogan is President of Grogan Advisory Services, a Private Wealth Management Firm. Samantha overcame physical limitations from congenital hip dysplasia and smashed the glass ceiling to become South Australia’s first female urological surgeon. She is a passionate businesswoman, founder, and entrepreneur.

She advocates gender equity, disability inclusion and cultural diversity, reducing the stigma of urinary incontinence and raising awareness about preventable chronic diseases.

Her first two books, The No Recipe Cookbook and When I’m a Surgeon, were Amazon No 1 best-sellers. Her Inspirational Careers picture book series inspires children to Dream Big and Aim High, instilling self-belief.
