Remy, you’ve grown up with social media, so it’s been part of your life, all your life. Recently I listened to an interested conversation on the generations, and their view of social media, technology etc. Generation X my generation is seen as the “bridging generation” we knew the world before the internet, social media and lots of the technology and we are rapidly learning about the digital world as it is now. Why is it important for my generation to have some level of understanding about all of these areas? Why do you think there are so many misunderstandings from the older generations around social media and technology, because for you its everyday life but for us it can be a real struggle to understand?

Mia what components have you included in the course to facilitate ease of learning and retention of information? Video, worksheets, overview, BTG blueprint and timeline

Remy what is social media strategy and why is it so important to understand?

Mia when we talk about our ideal client what does that mean and why is it so important to have this understand at the start?

Mia what on earth is a Jotform or a google form?

Remy you are a creative and graphics are an important component of social media and branding for that matter. How important is it to clearing define things like brand colors and graphics?

Mia lets talk about business vision mission, values and voice. Again how does knowing and documenting these elements of your business important to have as a starting point?

Remy the course will be providing participants with social media set and digital logins just this component is a little daunting for many, how does the course aim to simplify the “techy” stuff for everyone?

Mia next week the whole show will be on building a social brand – what on earth does that mean and what will we be talking about? Intro, Trello and comms tools, customization, best practices and social media specs, do followers matter, brand aesthetic and profile optimization.
Today’s guest is Holly Rose Holland – Co-author in The Colors of Me and Keep Moving

Holly Rose Holland is an intuitive author, international speaker, grief coach, former spouse, parent and grief survivor. While moving through the grief process herself, she noticed that people often become stuck when processing death, difficult relationships, employment-related issues, and even changes within themselves. She practices wellness through nature, natural products and intuition and travels to share her gifts with the world.

Holly’s first book is called Keep Moving, Creating a Life After Loss (2020, Sapphire Seahorse Press). Having always loved writing, she finds writing to be therapeutic for herself and others, as a means of expressing grief and creating a new life. Holly helps women get REAL: Remember, Express, Action, and Live.

Hollys chapter in The Colors of Me is called Peeling Back the Layers.

Her favorite quote is "Gratitude turns what we have into enough" by Anonymous

Holly - Welcome to the show we are so glad to have you here all the way from Canada – one of my favorite places in the world …Good morning Kez – I’m going to hand over to Kez to start the interview.

Kez - Lets start at the beginning Holly and talk about your journey up to this point in time. What can you tell the audience about you and your journey?

Toni – Holly I note that you practice wellness through nature and natural products, can you tell the audience a bit more about what this means to you and how its helped?

Kez - Your first book is called Keep Moving Creating a life after Loss. What prompted you to write this book and what’s it all about?

Toni – You have featured in The Colors of Me and your chapter is called Peeling Back the Layers, without giving too much away, what’ was the inspiration for this chapter?

Kez - You are featured in The Colors of Me and I’d like you to tell the audience how you got involved and what the process was like for you?

Toni - I love that you have the courage to talk about grief. Can you tell the audience about some of the amazing services you provide for people dealing with grief?

Kez – You have some advice for the living Holly, what is that and why is it important?

Toni – On your website people can sign up for your newsletter and you have a little gift for them as well. What is that gift for people who sign up for your newsletter?

Kez – Where can people buy your books and connect with you?

Toni – thankyou Holly

NOTES – these talking points and questions are a guide and kez and I like to keep the conversation organic and natural.

My first book is a self help book about grief and loss of life, lifestyle, relationships and employment. It is predominantly about my husbands cancer journey and our family’s recovery.

All of the other situations: lifestyle, relationships and employment also require grieving which is not always recognized.

As well, I provide some charts to complete for the living. Each day is a gift and we never know how many days we have left to complete our bucket list for example. There is some peace of mind in having important information collected and conversations had before a serious illness or death.
