Music as an art form is also an expression of self-sacrifice. And whenever musicians use their craft, they make themselves vulnerable to their audience. But by performing their craft in the way they do, there stands the hope that their music will capture and overshadow any doubt the audience may have about their ability to reach you, and make you vulnerable instead.

On this program, we deal with all aspects of aging. And one part of adding on the birthdays is living with memories. Our first guests this afternoon, Deanna Adams,  has written extensively about rock-n-roll memories, detailing a more innocent time when we baby boomer were captivated by music that spoke for our generations.

Jill Mattson is a student of teachings of Ancient Masters in the use of sound for healing and she also includes the skilled knowledge of a very uniquely talented woman named Sharry Edwards. Her biography is in this fascinating book 'Secret Sounds Ultimate Healing'.  We'll learn about Sharry's talents and also how she has developed BioAcoustics, a specialized system of working with sound for healing various conditions.

Two medical professionals dedicated to helping individuals and communities heal use the arts to create the shift needed.  This is a 12 week program that today is changing people lives.

DENEAN, singer/songwriter and passionate lover of Mother Earth and all our relations shares her amazing music and philosophy with us. She spent years working with top country music artists in Nashville, then joined a production company in Colorado to produce her signature album, "Fire Prayer". Since then, she has formed her own production company, and won the 2000 New Mexico "Mic" award as best producer.
