Eve Shippens is a parent, teacher and alumni of the Buffalo Public Schools. She is fighting for the children's right to an equitable, quality, enriching public education. Buffalo has a child poverty rate of close to 50% and is one of the most segregated cities in the country. Eve became active in the fight when the state of New York declared her school, along with three others, out of time and decided to shut them down. She fought with hundreds of students, teachers, families and other activists to keep the schools open and public!
TANISHA MORGAN
Tanisha Morgan was born in the suburbs of Chicago and relocated to Phoenix in the late 1980s. Studying law and business management at the University of New Mexico, she put herself through school by working part time for several attorneys. In 1993 she returned to Phoenix, continued to work in the legal field until her passion shifted to a new industry. She delved into the beauty industry in 1994 and after 3 short years, opened Krazy Nails Salon.
Carole Larkin MA, CMC, CAEd, DCP, QDCS, EICS is an expert in Alzheimer’s and related dementias care. She has a Master’s of Applied Gerontology, is a Certified Alzheimer’s Educator, is a Dementia Care Practitioner, is a Qualified Dementia Care Specialist, and an Excellence in Care Specialist with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America,. She is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager who specializes in helping families with Alzheimer’s and related dementias issues.

Born Emily Rose Morrison in Pittsburgh, PA this future starlet always knew she wanted to be an entertainer. Growing up in Youngstown, Ohio, Community Theater was like a second home to Emii. She took every opportunity to write songs and perform on the stage. Shortly after her 18th birthday, Emii hopped a Greyhound bus to New York City to pursue her dreams in the Big Apple with barely a penny in her pocket. “It’s safe to say my parents weren’t particularly thrilled with that decision,” she says. “But I knew what I had to do.”

Heather is an award winning, internationally acknowledged, recording artist, writer and speaker. She has recorded two albums and is currently working on a third release set to come out in the Summer of 2015, as well as writing songs for licensing for feature films, TV and web corporate advertising campaigns. Heather’s music has been featured on national television and in motion pictures for Warner Brothers and Universal Pictures. She was a breakout voiceover talent in the movie version of the Broadway smash hit, “Rent”.
Jessica joined NBC Right Now and SWX in 2014 and now serves as Sports Director and Weekday Sports Anchor.
