WILLIAM BINNEY is a former highly placed intelligence official with the United States National Security Agency (NSA) turned whistleblower who resigned on October 31, 2001, after more than 30 years with the agency. He was a high-profile critic of his former employers during the George W. Bush administration, and was the subject of FBI investigations, including a raid on his home in 2007.

This episode of The People Speak features two professors: Professor Noam Chomsky of M.I.T. during the first half hour and Professor James Tracy of the Florida Atlantic University during the last half hour.

Norman G. Finkelstein received his doctorate in 1988 from the Department of Politics at Princeton University.  For many years he taught political theory and the Israel-Palestine conflict.   He currently writes and lectures.  In this episode of The People Speak, Dr. Finkelstein discusses the impending military intervention in Syria by the United States and  circumstances leading up to this situation and beyond.

The Invisible War is a 2012 documentary film written and directed by Kirby Dick and produced by Amy Ziering and Tanner King Barklow about sexual assault in the United States military. It premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, where it received the U.S. Documentary Audience Award. The film was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 85th Academy Awards.
