Kevin Annett’s BBS Radio Network program, “Radio Free Kanata” airs every Sunday at 3:00 P.M. Pacific, 6:00 P.M. Eastern. It can be accessed at bbsradio.com/radiofreekanata  or by simply dialing (716) 748-0150. The show broadly works toward the encouragement and development of common law principals, beginning at the local level, and advocates at least a virtual or shadow Republic of Kanata, based on the fact that in recent polls, 59% of all Canadians would favor the dumping of anachronistic and lingering control by Mother England and something called “the Crown,” and the formation of a true Republic.

As you know, Kevin has worked for 25 years first in blowing the whistle on Church and Government genocide among natives in Canada, the subjugation of indigenous people worldwide, the international trafficking of women and children by people in high places and the creation of both the International Tribunal into the Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS) and its judicial outgrowth the International Common Law Court of Justice (ICLCJ), both working in a growing number of countries. For the mainstream media, most Canadians – and certainly Americans – all this is like a dog whistle, unheard and unknown. Pie in the sky? Not recently.

On the January 1 radio show, Kevin interviewed two of the leaders of a groundswell movement in Grant Township, Pennsylvania that truly represents what common law can accomplish, when State and Federal governments can be challenged, along with corporations. In this case, the people obtained an injunction against corporate interests, the Commonwealth and the EPA in blocking fracking activity that threatened to contaminate drinking water in Grant Township.

That’s the good news. But recently, Kevin Annett announced that it was no longer possible for him to continue the weekly BBS Radio broadcast.  The reason is simple – he is unable to maintain the production cost of producing the series. An annual overhead budget of $3,000 may seem ridiculously small even for the most modest media outlet.  But the inescapable fact is that for 25 years since his defrocking by the United Church of Canada, and more importantly his trashing and black-balling by that Church and the Federal Government of Canada, Kevin has had no income, save for his occasional book royalties and lecture stipends, together with the continuing support of a dedicated group of  supporters.

Perhaps there’s more to this dog-whistle business than we thought.

One resolute supporter in Ontario has come forward with the following message to all of us:

“I am willing to offer a dollar-for-dollar match of any donations in the next week up to $250 on the following conditions:
“a) if the donation is at least $8 (or some small sum of your choice based on 30 or so donating that would work) and
“b) that it be a ‘regular monthly` donation.
“If listeners/supporters act now, I will double their first month`s donation for as little as $8 a month, they could keep the show going for the cost of buying Kevin a coffee every week.”

Kevin Annett will be announcing this offer during his regular show tomorrow (Sunday, January 8), followed by an email reminder or two during next week, and the response will be announced on the January 15 radio program..  If people  email their intention to the address below during that week, even if they don’t have the money ’til later, this generous person will still match it. That’s her pledge.

The donor concludes: “I know I am often so embarrassed at how little I can donate that I don`t do it. But for the low, low price of $8 a month and the fact we would all be pulling together…the money is out there, let`s get over the psychological block.” (Editor’s note: Remember the widow’s mite? Bernie Sanders damn near became President by inspiring 15 million people – the average contribution  was 27 dollars.)

               Go thou and do likewise.
