Cathie Godfrey is an AUTHOR & SUICIDE LOSS SURVIVOR, Certified Grief Educator, a Certified Teaching Parent, Trainer, corporate Coach.

It is predicted there will be 1m+ suicides this year, which impacts so many family and loved ones when a life is unexpectedly and suddenly lost. In her book "Your Suicide Didn’t Kill Me; Choosing to Live and Love Again After Loss" she offers hope and understanding to fellow survivors. Cathie bravely recounts her raw and healing journey through grief and choosing to love again. The thoughts, lessons, and stories she tells could come only from someone with firsthand experience.

With a diploma in Social Work and over twenty five years of experience working with youth, including those who were suicidal, Cathie never believed that her husband of fifteen years would take his own life. In her book, she shares her experiences with candor and an open heart, intending to help others move through their own grief and healing process.

Cathie is a Certified Grief Educator, a Certified Teaching Parent (TFA), a graduate of Leadership Calgary, a trainer and corporate coach. She considers herself a life-long learner and has taken personal development courses since 1984 when she flew to San Diego to study with Jack Canfield. Her studies have also included energetic healing techniques.
