Life Changes Show Guest, JULES February 27, 2023
Singer and Songwriter

JULES

Jules is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter born in Atlanta, Georgia. When Jules was 3, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona whilst discovering her love for all-things music, dancing and creativity.

Growing up, her parents always played music by Train, John Mayer, Adele, Amy Winehouse, and countless other big-name artists, allowing Jules to become exposed to a variety of genres and voices at a young age. Those same legendary artists slowly became Jules’ musical influences, especially when she began playing guitar at the age of 8 and writing her own songs at the age of 10.

In March of 2018, a 14 year old Jules released her 6-song debut EP, Marvelous Misconceptions. After working on the short album for a year, she started to develop her own writing style and soon began recording new music. This new material turned into her second release, which was an ambient guitar-stricken pop single by the name of Something’s Different, in the fall of that same year.

While still attending school, Jules took time in 2019 to get as much performing and writing experience as possible. In early 2020, Jules made her worldwide appearance auditioning for season 18 of NBC’s The Voice, making it into the second round of the show at 15 years old. Now 18, Jules continues to get back into the booth, laying down hits waiting to be heard in the big leagues. Follow Jules as she takes the music world by storm, one song at a time.

Life Changes Show Guest, CHAD PRICE February 20, 2023
Gas controller and Entrepreneur

CHAD PRICE

While working as a gas controller in corporate America for TransCanada in Houston he discovered that corporate America wasn’t sustainable for him long term and he wanted to start his own business.  Seeing the inner workings of a large corporation gave him the impetus to start his own e-commerce focused business.

Along with two partners they narrowed down their product list and settled on kettlebells. At the time it wasn’t a known space but was a growing market.  He desired to build kettlebells as the centerpiece of a health and wellness community. Then started the first BIPOC owned Kettlebell company, “Kettlebell Kings” which is like the ESPN of the kettlebell world. A place to foster a community of people using kettlebells as the centerpiece of fitness. Take everyone’s content alongside their uniquely created content and display it in a way that’s easy for people to consume and feel part of a community.

In business he can be as competitive as he wants and not worry like he did on the sports field, when he was in Rice University.

After ten years, Chad’s first venture Kettlebell Kings was acquired by Razor Group for millions of dollars.

Then went on to create and start “Life Grows Green” is a side project that he started as a result of negative images and culture around hemp plants.  Being a big believer in natural and green products which is naturally encompassed in Hemp he tried to make products just from nature; natural based products. Products that include: CBD related capsules, oils, tinctures, salves, peanut butter, honey, melatonin and protein powder and made them available direct to the online consumer.

Chad continues his commitment to fitness, health and wellness and makes sure to travel extensively and spend time with his family.
