Physical therapy specializing in working with people with physical disabilities

At the age of four, I was diagnosed with a severe form of ADHD (later diagnosed with bipolar), and the doctor said that my only options were medication and counseling. I struggled in school to make friends and got bullied for being "different." In middle school, my parents got me a gym membership to the YMCA. I started exercising, and it changed my life. As a result, I've felt a deep calling to help others with special needs experience abundant life through health and fitness.



In 2016, I started Special Strong in North Texas, which provides adapted fitness personal training for special needs with autism and other disabilities. After successfully serving over 1,000 special needs clients with zero injuries, I started Strong Education, which teaches trainers, parents, and professionals to adapt fitness for autism and other disabilities with our online special needs certification.



Today, we continue to expand Special Strong to other markets through our Special Strong franchise owners. It is my desire to see the Special Strong movement in every state and in multiple countries around the world.

Matt Arnold is the director of the nonprofit organization Clear the Bench Colorado, which aims to educate voters on the activities of the Colorado Supreme Court and work for reform the state's judicial system through retention elections.

Matt Arnold's organization Clear the Bench Colorado evaluates judicial performance in an effort to educate voters in judicial retention elections. In 2010, according to the Colorado Independent, Arnold "railed at Tea Party gatherings across the state against the liberal leanings of the state’s Supreme Court justices." The paper also noted that, in 2011, Arnold ran for the position of chair for the Republican Party of Colorado; he lost the campaign to Ryan Call.

Karen received her Masters’ Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and has worked in the areas of family therapy, eldercare and PTSD.

Acclaimed talk show host of Spouting Off

As a performer, she has toured the country in musical comedies, entertained on cruise ships and appeared in television and film. Her broadcast experience includes turns as a classical music radio announcer, news-caster, voice-over artist and of course, talk radio host. She lends her operatic voice to a variety of fundraisers and community events and has sung the National Anthem and God Bless America in numerous venues from State Legislatures to the New Jersey Nets.

Karen has trained people of all ages in public speaking, voice and diction, assertiveness and interpersonal communication. She taught communications at a Manhattan corporate training firm, the New School for Social Research, Parsons School of Design in New York, New Jersey’s Montclair State College, and Fairleigh Dickenson University, among others.

In politics, Karen has written numerous editorials and run for public office. She is passionate about freedom, equal justice and personal responsibility. You might have trouble pigeonholing her.

She enjoys encouraging people to think for themselves and to question everything.

Karen is the author of the awarding winning memoir, FATLASH! Food Police & the Fear of Thin, a memoir about her "stage mother on steroids" and her participation in child beauty pageants.
