When Suzanne Ward’s son Matthew died in a vehicle wreck in 1980 at the age of 17, she tried to cope with her grief by contacting mediums. Those to whom she "was led," as she later learned, gave progressive updates on Matthew’s spirit life and all said that when the time was right, she would communicate with him directly.
The books are available at Barnes & Noble and can be ordered at www.MatthewBooks.com. English language editions have sold in 26 countries and one or more of the books have been published or are being translated into Chinese, Danish, Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, Hungarian, Romanian and Spanish.
Suzanne (more often known as Suzy) continues to receive information from her sources. Because of many requests for more of this kind of enlightening material, in 2004 she started circulating monthly messages from Matthew. The distribution list has grown to about 3500 worldwide and the messages are archived on many Web sites in English, including www.MatthewBooks.com, and translated versions in other countries.
To further acquaint people with “the afterlife” and what is happening in our world within a universal context, Suzy has made numerous public presentations, including the WESAK celebration in Mt. Shasta, CA, in 2003, and Torino, Italy, in 2006. She has been a guest on several radio shows and teleconferences, and in 2006, she became a teleconference panelist on “We the People” (information about dates, guests and telephone number is at www.AwakenedHearts.com. Her most recent project, along with “Matthew and Friends,” is receiving messages for a book that she, Celestial Bluestar and David will publish in autumn 2007.
With their family of adopted dogs, Suzy and her husband Bob Chapman live in a rural area of SW Washington. Her other three children live in Latin America.
