ABOUT THE HOST: Sharmin "Eslynne" Smith
Sharmin suffers from PTSD and is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. She is a military brat and spouse, born in the projects. She was a homeless single mom in her 20's, and now owns a historic mansion in Central Ohio. Sharmin looks very normal on the outside, but, because of how she was raised, she sees and exists within the world differently than normal people. Her ability to see trends has served Smith well in the past, helping her see the importance of the 2016 election and the need for both parties to field authentic candidates. She sees 2020 very clearly and is starting early.
Sharmin is the author of Taming The Tida; a fictional life story where she wins the reality TV show called “Who Wants To Be President?” While the book is fictional she draws from her personal life experiences to create the back story.
The bulk of this book was written in a two week period where Sharmin wrote in an almost trance like state that produced over 300 pages. When she snapped out of the this trance, St. Louis was burning from Michael Browns death and Robin Williams had committed suicide.
This novel was published 6 months before Trump announced his campaign and much of what she wrote played out in real life, things she refused to publish actually happened. She believes she has the missing information to connect the dots and help unite our nation. She refuses to believe there is anything so wrong with our country that it can't be corrected with a little common sense and compassion.
