Mel Jannel is a community activist and executive director of Save Our Kids International. She earned a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Public Policy Analysis and International Affairs and continued her studies at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs in New York, New York. After attending Columbia University, she moved to Los Angeles, California where she honed her craft in storytelling through Digital Photography. Her hope is to educate others about the importance of protecting civil liberties and human dignity worldwide.
