My Awakening In the summer of 2008 I had a NDE. I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness. After weeks and over 100 bags of IV antibiotics, conventional medicine alone was not working. I was very week and could not walk or get out of bed. One evening my grandmother who has passed, came to me. As soon as I realized it was my grandmother, I began to cry, I knew that my time in this life was up. My grandmother came to me, put her hand on my arm. She told me that it was not my time to cross over, that she would be with me when it was time, but for now I was given this gift my illness, to be able to help others. Within a few days my Dr came into my room and told me he didn t know what else to do. They discussed sending me home with Hospice. My nurse came in the room and put her hand on my arm. I got goose bumps all over and I remembered the message I received from my grandmother. I also began to hear the word REIKI over and over. That night I decided that I was going home, and I was going to take a Reiki class as soon as I got out of the hospital. So I scheduled the class and told my Dr I was going home. When I went to the reiki class I was unsure that I could actually do this . During the class one of the other students was doing reiki over my heart chakra and the energy was so intense I almost jumped off the table. That night I felt the need to write. In my writing I was told the message Do not let a disease or everyday trials in life become who you are. Stay steadfast and strong in your journey through life and the abundance of peace is inevitable . This was my confirmation that I was to follow my grandmother s guidance and use this Gift to reach out to others with guidance and support. This led me to open the Body, Mind, Spirit Center, a non-profit center working with people that have life threatening illnesses. Also providing free guided meditation CD s at health centers throughout the country. Since then I have dedicated my life to growing and learning myself, so that I may help others to do just that. I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist, reiki practitioner, sound therapist, & meditation facilitator. As a life coach, instructor and ordained minister I offer my students and clients the knowledge and tools to find self empowerment in their lives, as well as, find their individual path to health and enlightenment.
