Y’shua Yisrael is a Doctor of Audiology. During his career he was employed in university, clinical, international, and in public school settings. Subsequent to his retirement, he embarked on an intense spiritual odyssey borne out of an innate identification with Judaism, and the Jewish culture. He has traveled extensively throughout Israel and visited a number of historical and biblical landmarks.
Dr. Yisrael is a Poet, musician, and author. He enjoys reading and asking questions. He has read, the Zohar, Pirkei Avot, and The Guide for the Perplex, Rebbe by Joseph Telushkin, and several of the contemporary Kabbalistic authors including, the Yehudah Ash lag’s Baal HaSulam. He is a student of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov who has celebrated Rosh Hashanah, given Tzdakah, and prayed the Tikkun Haklali in Uman, Ukraine. Dr Yisrael visited the Beit Yisrael Jewish synagogue in Addis Ababa Ethiopia and spent 2018 Hanukah in the Holy City of Tzfat, Israel.
Dr. Yisrael is a student of Torah, and the Hebrew Alphabet as a technology of consciousness. He understands the letters of the Hebrew Alphabet to be profound primal spiritual forces that were used by the Creator. Daily recitation of these sacred impulses of transcendental light effects the psychological disposition of the reader. In addition, cultivates the human nervous system to maintain a connection with heavenly energies in the upper world. Hence, vocalization of these letters refines the nervous system and facilitates connectedness to the upper world. The essential power of the Torah according to Dr. Yisrael resides in the letters themselves and not the stories they tell.
Dr. Yisrael is a skilled pianist, vocalist, and composer who has written, arranged, and produced two compact disc recordings (CD). He is a contributing writer for The Monthly Reported, a local, community newspaper and the hosts his weekly radio broadcast entitled SHEMA Yisrael. Dr. Yisrael has lived and worked in several countries; India, Australia, Africa, and The South Pacific island of Guam. The wisdom and richness of the Yahadut is so enlightening he has made a commitment to spread the knowledge of the One True God. He targets the lost sheep of the House of Israel. It is his contention that this is the long-awaited fulfillment of the prophetic redemption of the House of Yisrael, prophesied in the scripture. His contention is that only the Torah can awaken and empowered, and in-gather the lost sheep of the House of Israel.
