DR. ASAR HAPI, Ph. D. developed a methodology to optimize the physical ability of athletes, while maximizing their performance and extending the quality and longevity of their professional careers. Personal health concerns, which encompassed proposed surgery, prompted Dr. Ha-Pi to find a better way for his own well being. He pursued education in physiology, anatomy, neuroanotomy, nutrition and related subjects. He has studied at the Himalayan Institute since 1970. Dr. Ha-Pi has completed courses, lectures and intensive workshops with Swami Rama, Dr. Woods, BKS, Lyengar, Master Ekolu Raaton, Richard Utt, Beckly Love, Swami Satchinanda and Swami Vishnunaneda, Dr. Ha-Pi has also attended the International Institute of Physiology, where he learned healing techniques from China and applied techniques in Mexico, Egypt, India and South America. Since 1978, Dr. Ha-Pi has developed and taught Egyptian Yoga. This unique body of knowledge serves as a personal and powerful adjunct to all the services he provides; Kemetic Yoga™, an ancient Egyptian system of Yoga enlightenment based upon the practices of physical movements combined with controlled deep breathing and meditation.
