At four years of age Michael Black's first sexual experience triggered something within him and catapulted him into a world he fell victim to...and that was in bed with men. In fact, he stepped way outside of the bed. It didn’t matter where. Micheal was a sex addict early in his life, combined with meth, cocaine, and heroin over many years.
People around him…..in his gay world were dropping off like flies. He survived the AIDS epidemic, child sexual assault, abuse, rape, a survivor to meth, cocaine and even heroin, and conquered four months of aggressive chemotherapy. Michael was married to a woman and divorced rather quickly. He was written off by men, twice, AIDS-related Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, two different decades...AND he is still here. Micheal Black's story is one of Defeat and Victory!
Michael is aspiring to share his passion for life through writing and public speaking. He reveals intimate details of his lifelong journey and his hope and prayer for his book "Happy Endings and a New Beginning" is by highlighting his own choices, that others might become more cognizant of their own. He encourages others to think before acting and understand he is a work in progress.
