DC kids trapped in a cycle of Violence Policy Director, Juvenile Justice Initiative - with our guest, Eduardo Ferrer!
Carjackings are at an all-time high in the District. Murders are up and crime, in general, is up 35 percent. Children are murdering children on the streets of the nation's capital while our City Council holds public meetings and passes laws on shoplifting. How can we stem the crisis of youth violence and get the rising crime situation in our community under control? I will discuss with Professor Ferrer alternatives to addressing the problem of youth violence and ways to make our community safe again.
