"I should have known."--no, no, I'm not trying to lay a guilt trip on you.  "I should have known" is the featured phrase of the week.

How many times have you said to yourself, "I should have known."  Why should you?  Or even worse, someone else saying to you, "You should have known." That's as bad as someone saying, "Don't you remember?"

My response to both is, "Why should I?" If I didn't know, what makes me believe that I should  have known.

It's because we've been invaded by a legion of "Should-ees" that have taken over much of our time, decisions and predilections.

I say, "Down with the shoul-dee's. Most of them are controlled by guilt- a close cousin to obligation and manipulation.

And BTW, what is it to know anything?  How deep can our knowing go? These are questions that need to be asked.

"Hmmmm......I should have known, "

Aach....there, I did it again.

Tonight we're going to make a declaration of independence from the tyranny of the should-ees. Let's free our selves from a "Should-ee" life once and for all.
