I believe that we prepare ourselves to expand our hearts once more in love each time we love. My heart dog, Laila, passed away last spring. I don't live with a dog right now and I have no immediate plans to bring a dog into my life, but it's important for me to spend time with other dogs. So many close their hearts after losing someone they deeply love. They don't want to feel the pain of loss. They doubt their ability to love again. They have many other reasons that reflect their truth in that moment.

As a counselor and as a medium, I often suggest dialoguing with our dearly departed.  I've found that they now have the freedom to say the things they didn't feel free enough to say when they were physically with us.

As an animal communicator, I often dialogue with my dogs who are now in Spirit.  I don't always like hearing what they tell me but, whatever it is they say, I know it's coming from a pure place.

Today, 25 January, is National Opposite Day. It's supposed to be a fun day. It's supposed to be a day that allows us to live in opposition to the way we routinely live. Start the day with dinner and work back to breakfast. Say the opposite of what you mean; during an election year, we'd all save a lot of time if we limited the inconsistencies to just one day. Wear your summer clothes under your parka. Stuff like that.
