On Tuesday, July 4th we will be celebrating our nation's 24th Birthday - Happy Fourth of July/Independence Day to everyone!! I just returned from Edinburgh, Scotland where I attended the 13th annual Conference of UNPO (The Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization). UNPO is an international, nonviolent, and democratic membership organization. The members of UNPO include indigenous peoples and minorities that reside in unrecognized or occupied territories, who have joined together to protect and promote their human and cultural rights.
