What is responsible for the growing incivility and bullying behavior in America today? Rude or disrespectful behavior in our society has become a major problem in schools, in the workplace, in politics and in our own homes, bowling alleys and backyards. U.S. workers report they have experienced or witnessed some kind of bullying—verbal abuse, insults, threats, screaming, sarcasm, ostracism or sexual assault. It does not help that the two major parties in government are not civil either.
