Today’s guest is the legendary Carol Connors, an acclaimed singer and songwriter whose remarkable career spans more than six decades. She first rose to fame as the voice of The Teddy Bears with the No. 1 hit “To Know Him Is To Love Him,” written by the infamous Phil Spector the Genius of Rock N Roll Music. Phil Spector was the key to Elvis becoming her first love. She went on to co-write the iconic “Gonna Fly Now,” the theme from Rocky, which earned an Academy Award nomination. She is currently nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Audiobook for her memoir Elvis, Rocky and Me, a powerful reflection on her extraordinary life in music and Hollywood.

David Longoria is a 2025 Grammy Award–winning musician, composer, and producer known for his powerful trumpet work and genre-spanning artistry. He won the Grammy Award for Best Children’s Music Album as a contributing artist on Brillo Brillo! with Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band. Longoria’s career bridges jazz, pop, Latin, and inspirational music, and his work is recognized for its emotional depth, technical excellence, and collaborative spirit across diverse musical genres
