John Maxwell Taylor is known internationally for his award-winning portrayal of Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung. As a pioneering European rockstar in the '60s, Taylor’s bands opened for the Beatles and the Rolling Stones in Paris, and he performed for Queen Elizabeth on the Royal Variety Show at the London Palladium. He is also the author of the best-selling book The Power of I Am and two award-winning books, Eros Ascending: The Life-Transforming Power of Sacred Sexuality (2009) and The Enlightenment Quest and the Art of Happiness (USA BOOK NEWS Winner Best Spiritual Book of 2015) His latest book is his autobiography entitled Yogananda, Gurdjieff, Jung & I AM: My Adventures in Life and Consciousness, which recounts his wild romp through sixty years of consciousness-raising meditation to find bliss, joy, happiness, and our true nature as humans.
