The Shroud of Turin is one of the most controversial relics both for religion and science. In 1988, carbondating results suggested the shroud was a 14th century fake. Others have labelled it the worlds first photograph. But what is less known, is that there is evidence that the shroud dates to the 1st century and contains the image of a man who was definitely crucified. Beyond such scientific facts, the shroud is also a powerful relic, which leaves no-one untouched.
