Caryn Czarnecki’s husband of 20 years, Kevin, is a Captain in a Connecticut Fire Department with 34 years of service: 27 career and 7 as volunteer. They met at the fire dept 32 years ago.  Caryn is an elementary school teacher, teaching for 26 years at the same elementary school where she went as a child.

Linda Rost, LCSW, has been working in the field of psychological trauma for 35 years. She maintains a private practice in Wilton, Connecticut where she works with adults and adolescents. She is a Certified EMDR therapist, as well as an Approved Consultant in the same therapy. She is currently one of the coordinators of the Fairfield Country Trauma Response Team, providing education, training and treatment for first responders.
