Good morning Kez today we want to talk about the ART of writing and how writers can “hone their skills” What it means to be an author, what they don’t tell you.

1. Kez, what do we mean when we talk about the writing process? planning, drafting, and sharing to revising, editing, and publishing

2. So generally, we talk about the 7 steps of the writing process – Lets start with the first stage – planning or prewriting – what does that involve for you (planning, drafting, and sharing to revising, editing, and publishing

3. Next is creating your first draft – (write freely from the beginning to the end how) how correct do you like your first draft and are you focussed on word count?

4. Next step is around sharing your first draft – Kez do you share your first draft and how do you manage this process?

5. Evaluate your draft - how do you deal with the feedback and what do you consider constructive criticism in terms of your writing?

6. Next is revising your draft – lets chat about what the revision looks like for you. (structural problems, flow, what tools do you use at this stage of writing?

7. Now this is the part of the writing process I find most difficult – Editing! Tell me about your editing process Kez, I know that you have just done this so tell the audience how that went for you?

8. Publishing your content – this is a huge subject on its own so lets review the ways you have published Kez.
