Guests, Vincent and Claudia Pinto

Vincent Pinto, Naturalist, Ethnobotanist, Wildlife Biologist, and his beautiful wife, Claudia, a passionate Activist and Environmentalist, join Caroline to discuss Raven's Way Wild Journeys, their wilderness survival school in the Sky Island Region of southern Arizona. They will discuss the importance of everyone knowing how to build a shelter, how to make fire, how to find water, and which wild plants are edible and medicinal. In todays changing world of deadly tornados, storms, earthquakes and floods, it could mean the difference between life and death. They also teach methods of growing food organically, composting, harvesting rainwater, and how to live in harmony with the animals and reptiles that share the earth with us. Their dedication to protecting and stewarding Mother Earth is truly inspiring.
