Michael Donald (Mike) Brown (b. August 5, 1952) is a shadow senator from the District of Columbia.

As a shadow senator, Brown receives no pay from the government, receives no budget from the government, and cannot vote on matters before the Senate. While he does not have an office in the United States Senate, the Government of the District provides the position with an office. Brown lobbies the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives on behalf of the citizens of the District in their attempt to gain full representation in Congress, self-determination, and eventually admittance to the union as a state. As shadow senator, Brown also works with the District's delegate, mayor, and council to advance the interest of local residents on Federal issues. Brown is a member of the Democratic Party.

Dr. Nickolas Martin has masters degrees in the areas of social work and school psychology, as well as a doctoral degree in education.  He is also a certified school psychologist, nationally certified school psychologist, and licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  He has worked as a therapist in a mental health clinic for 22 years, taught as a university professor at the undergraduate and graduate levels for 24 years, and served as a consultant for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for 22 years.  These professional experiences include having conducted several thousand psychotherapy sessions, psychological evaluations, and class meetings.  He notes that all of these experiences have taught him about the centrality and paramount importance of ego within a person’s life.

Filippo Voltaggio is an Author, Public Speaker, Radio Show Host and Life Coach.  Among the many life changes that have earned him the moniker “Master of Change,” Filippo started his professional career working his way up to Junior Management in a Fortune Top 3 Company.  After many Industry awards and accolades, he left to pursue his childhood love, music.

In yet another change, Filippo temporarily put his singing career on hold to pursue another of his loves, radio. After an initial foray into terrestrial radio broadcasting with his show, “Filippo and the Chef,” he landed on his current hit, as the host of “The LIFE CHANGES Show.”

In this new Industry he has already earned President Barack Obama’s Call to Service Award and the Master Award from the Save the World Foundation.

Filippo’s life long interests in the Esoteric Sciences have lead him to pursue and achieve certifications in Life Coaching, Energetic Alchemy Mastery, Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy, Reiki Master Teacher, Reconnective Healing, and Theta Healing.

Synposis:  What do Yoda, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, James Bond’s Q, and Ciccina have in common? They are all mentors. Mentors train, motivate, plant ideas, bestow gifts, etc., and they appear when the student is ready. All these mentors did exactly that, but that is where the similarities end. Of all these mentors, Ciccina is the only one who isn’t a fictional character.

“The Little Dog That Could – When The Student Is Ready, The Teacher Appears” is the fantastically true story of a young man and a little dog, Ciccina, that came into his life as his mentor; to have him understand the world beyond his human senses and experience life, love and healing beyond his human understanding.

Ciccina and the book are both small in size and are very unassuming, but they are packed with eventful surprises, inspiring lessons, comical moments, and heart tugging experiences that are bound to leave the reader delighted and changed by the end of the adventure.

Author Eileen Workman graduated from Whittier College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and minors in economics, history, and biology. She spent 16 years in the financial services industry as a Senior Vice President and financial adviser for Smith Barney. Ed Lantz is an entertainment technology engineer, entrepreneur, immersive experience designer and innovator in giant-screen digital cinema. He left aerospace engineering in 1990 to transform old-style planetariums into 360-degree immersive visualization environments, designing over a dozen permanent digital dome theaters worldwide while at Spitz, Inc. including the Library of Alexandria in Egypt, National Space Center in Leicester, UK, the Glasgow Science Center in Glasgow, Scotland and Papalote Museo del Nino in Mexico City.  He also led the product development of the SciDome digital planetarium which has sold over 100 units worldwide.

Ed founded Vortex Immersion Media in 2007 to bring VR, immersive and interactive experiences into mainstream arts and entertainment markets. Vortex produces immersive and interactive media experiences for themed entertainment, VR Cinemas and numerous Fortune 500 companies including Condé Nast, EMC², IBM, Live Nation, Microsoft, NBC Universal, Nestle, NFL, Nike, Nokia, Sprint and Turner Broadcast. The company has produced 360 concert dome venues as large as 60 meters in diameter with capacity of 3,000 people for artists including Scrillix, Diplo and DJ Snake (dot Party for Production Club) and Childish Gambino (Pharos for Live Nation).

Vortex also operates the Vortex Dome, the first commercial immersive media production studio and events venue located in downtown Los Angeles. Ed’s personal focus is on the unique cognitive properties of next-generation multisensory “sentient” environments, the merging of virtual and real storytelling worlds, and the development of fulldome theaters as next-generation entertainment and performance venues. Ed holds two U.S. patents on immersive theater technologies, was awarded a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with minor in Quantum Physics and Electromagnetics from Tennessee Tech University, and is a founder of the trade association IMERSA. He co-authored DIGSS 1.1 (Digital Immersive Giant Screen Specifications) in cooperation with the Giant Screen Cinema Association, is a member of ACM/SIGGRAPH and IEEE, co-chaired the VR Villa at SIGGRAPH 2015, is a board delegate on the Producer’s Guild of America’s New Media Council and chairs the Boards of nonprofit organizations c3: Center for Conscious Creativity and is a past board member of Create Now.
