“From the very beginning she knew she was different.
There was something inside her, something radiant, something rare.
A LIGHT so bright that when she let it shine, it made others uncomfortable.
She saw the way they shifted, the way they looked away.
She felt their discomfort, their unspoken “why can’t you just be like us?”
So, she made herself smaller.
She dimmed her LIGHT so others could shine.
She let them take up space, believing they needed it more than she did.
And one day, she realized she wasn’t helping anyone.
She wasn’t doing them a favor by making herself less.
She wasn’t making them stronger.
She was only making herself disappear.
So, she stopped.
She let her LIGHT blaze through the cracks.
And yes, some ran.
Some turned away because her LIGHT revealed what they weren’t ready to see.
But the ones who stayed?
They were different.
They weren’t afraid of her LIGHT.
They had been waiting for it.
And that’s when she finally understood.
She wasn’t too much.
She was a mirror.
When she dimmed her LIGHT, she attracted those who lived in the dark.
But when she let it shine,
She called in those who were ready to rise.
And in that moment, she knew – her LIGHT was never meant to be hidden.
It was meant to lead the way.”
