Personalized learning is nothing more than the privatization of our schools via Common Core but only by another name.

Personalized learning or CBE (Competency Based Education) is just another toxic term for dumbing down education through massive investments in technology. This is a movement that must be resisted as vehemently as Common Core, high stakes testing, and invalid teacher evaluation formulas. Personalized learning depersonalizes our children and our teachers and turns them into little automatons hooked into expensive technology.

Do not be deceived by this deceptive name for the next round of education reforms. Maine is but a prototype for what is coming to the other 49 states.
