The Sterling Rose Sanctuary (TSRS) is a 501(c)(3) organization born from personal loss to address our nation's mental health crisis. Our mission is to help individuals heal from pain and trauma, and we have already extended our reach to 38 states and 4 countries.

The need for this work is immense. Statistically, ninety-seven percent of people who seek counseling or coaching are dealing with unresolved grief and trauma. According to the World Health Organization, a billion children suffer from trauma—and those children grow into adults carrying that pain. This is why accessible, effective resources are so critical.

We are the "boots on the ground," coming alongside those who are suffering to provide practical tools for healing. The Sterling Rose Sanctuary helps people find restoration from a wide spectrum of pain, including addiction, grief, anxiety, depression, suicide, anger, and the deep wounds of abuse, molestation, and sexual ritual abuse. Our goal is to see individuals set free from their trauma so they can live fully in their created purpose.

A vital part of healing is learning to permit yourself to grieve and discovering what tools support your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Drawing from her own experiences and education, our founder, Marcia, has written a new book, Gripping Grace in the Garden of Grief: A Place for the Heart. It is a resource for anyone enduring sorrow and feeling alone in their journey, offering comfort without clichés, faith without pretense, and a message of fiercely enduring love. The book explores the sacredness of suffering, the power of remembrance, and the transformative nature of grief.

We were recently able to provide this book to those who faced immeasurable loss at Camp Mystic. Moving forward, we aim to continue distributing this vital resource while also raising funds for a permanent sanctuary—a dedicated place where individuals can find rest, renewal, release from triggered trauma, and reset.

Biography

Marcia Earhart is a trained educator, certified life, grief, trauma, brain, and mental health first responder coach, Mediator, and HeartSync Minister who guides individuals through life's most challenging moments. Her expertise is not just professional; it is forged in the crucible of personal experience. After enduring the unimaginable tragedies of losing two adult sons within the past eleven years, including one to murder, Marcia's life is a profound testimony to finding God's unwavering faithfulness in the deepest valleys.

As an accomplished author, her powerful new book, "Gripping Grace in the Garden of Grief, A Place for the Heart," is a deeply personal and emotional journey through devastating loss and raw, unrelenting grief. More than a chronicle of loss, it is a testament to the God-given hope that slowly, tenderly rebuilds a life forever altered. Through a vulnerable sharing of her family's story—which also encompasses the loss of her mother and her youngest son's mental health battles—Marcia explores the fragile threads of love and pain that hold us together when life unravels.

Marcia’s writing is an extension of her heart—informed by years of wisdom, lived experience, and a profound desire to see others step into the fullness of their created design. She writes not just to inform, but to usher in deep, lasting healing.

Marcia and her husband are the founders of The Sterling Rose Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and are boots on the ground to the mental health crisis. Marcia creates a safe space for the grieving to release their pain so they can Breathe again, Move again, and Live again as purposed. Even though the ministry is faith-based, it offers healing to all people and has had a reach in 38 states and 4 countries. Marcia's work stands as a powerful reminder that even in the deepest sorrow, no one has to walk alone.

Marcia has been married to her best friend, Scott, for thirty-five years, and together they homeschooled and enjoyed raising their four boys and daughter. Marcia, Scott, and two of their adult children, who live close by, love spending time together, making memories at the beach, traveling, playing games, having deep conversations, cooking, and listening to their son’s music on Apple and Spotify, as he is a beat maker/singer/songwriter.
