Hugh Millen (born November 22, 1963) is a former professional football player, a quarterback in the National Football League from 1986 to 1995. Selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the third round (71st overall) of the 1986 NFL Draft from the University of Washington, he played mainly as a backup in ten NFL seasons for the Rams, Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, and New Orleans Saints.
Millen currently works as a football analyst for KJR-AM radio and KCPQ television in Seattle, Washington, and lives with his family in Snoqualmie.
Eric was the Sports Director at KOMO for many years, but recently he became the anchor for the 5:00 news.
He was raised in Spokane (East Valley High School), and majored in broadcasting in the Edward R. Murrow School of Communications at Washington State University. He also played baseball at WSU (he says with very limited success).
In his 15 years at KOMO, Eric has been awarded more than 25 Regional Emmy Awards, and in 2007 was given the highest prize in local television news, a National Edward R. Murrow Award for best feature story in the country.
