We define our lives by every thought and word. If we want our lives to change, it al starts with what we think and say. You must realize that the power of the Word of God has to power to realign anything that is nonaligned, especially faulty mind-sets, belief systems, ideologies, traditions, and doctrines of deception that lie and exalt themselves above the will of God for your life. Do not continue groping mindlessly through life, in darkness, unaware of the will of God for YOUR life. He already has a plan for you! You just have to follow His directions to find it. -Cindy Trimm

Have you ever been in a situation where you decided to take a stand against an opposing force? Of course you have! Here are a few good examples:
Man to woman: “You can’t tell me what to do! I’m going to do what I want, when I want and there’s nothing you can do about it!”
A child in the grocery store who falls on the floor, kicking and screaming, because her mother said she couldn’t have the sugary cereal.
A weight-lifter, swearing under his breath to the bar he’s trying to press, “You will NOT get the best of me. I will beat you!”
What Does Science and Research Say about Happiness and What Does it Mean for My Life
A man is easily triggered by his teenage son’s bad attitude and gets offended when he feels his son is disrespecting him. He jumps all over his son about his behavior and both end up in a bad place.
Autocorrect Manifestations ©2015 Joan Newcomb
My computer runs autocorrect on everything I write, sometimes changing words *as* I type them. Some days I spend more time correcting the darned autocorrect than writing!
When you begin the process of conscious manifestation, it often seems like the Universe has it's own autocorrect. What you ask for shows up as something slightly different. It can be comical, or irritating.
How NOT to be Tossed And Turned By The Vortex ©2015 Joan M. Newcomb
I came across a video of a piece of fabric, dancing in the vortex of a circle of fans. It looks human, in the way it twists and twirls. It looks how we feel, as we engage with different energies in this physical realm.
How I Lost 50# Without Even Trying ©2015 Joan Newcomb
I stopped growing when I was twelve but kept eating. By the time I was 14, I weighed the same as I would when I was 9 months pregnant with each of my kids.
My parents sent me to see a psychologist. He was fat, with greasy hair and dandruff on his shoulders. He gave me a 200 question assessment. Afterwards he told me I was depressed, because I was overweight.
I have to say I was a little put off. Who was this guy to say *I* was fat?!?! I refused to see him again.
Respond-Ability ©2015 Joan M. Newcomb, CPC
Responsibility is such a heavy word. Being responsible can mean taking the blame or being at fault when things go wrong. Being responsible can mean that you're the only one being accountable for the success or failure an endeavor.
Suck it up. Put on your big girl panties.
Responsibility sounds like no fun at all.
Responsibility is the ability to respond. When something happens, you are at choice to respond or react.
Should a Pessimist Even Care About Being an Optimist?
So I’ve been pondering if a pessimist should care about being more optimistic and I say YES. I say this for several reasons. First of all, there are many research studies done on the major mental and physical health improvements that typically occur when we are more optimistic. I’m talking about lower stress, less depression, more energy, more resilience and more success in life, to name a few.
So many of us constantly have positive affirmations pasted on our refrigerator, mirrors, desks and any other place we can find.
Do you ever wonder why you keep saying the same statement over and over again with no result?
Have you ever pondered that maybe if you keep saying "I am healthy, rich and wise" that your sub conscious will eventually get it ? Is it possible that you already are healthy, rich and wise and aren't acknowledging it?
