Speaker 1: Hello again, this is World Pastor Tony Alamo. Today is the 75th part in the messages on How to Have God’s Life Living in You. This is program 177. At the end of this program, if you would like to have a copy, please specify whether you want a tape or CD.

We have several letters and a testimony that some of the people in the church thought was really bad, which my son brought in the services today, but I thought it was absolutely wonderful. It goes to show how people in churches can be unscriptural and unpleasant to be around, just as anywhere else in the entire world.

As I said in the message yesterday, there are a lot of phonies and hypocrites in churches, but the Lord didn’t say to believe on the phonies and the hypocrites. He said to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. There was, with Christ, one devil out of twelve. So when you take the thousands and hundreds of thousands of people in my church, you notice Satan is going to send devils in.

There were around twelve to fifteen, I can’t even count them, that were put out of the church because of one thing or another, because of the evil way they were. They were so evil that the Lord didn’t even want them to be in the church any longer. Sometimes there are still a lot of evil people in every true church of the Lord, and in the churches that are not of the Lord, the place is just packed out with them.

In every church that is really of the Lord, you’re going to have hypocrites and phonies. Anytime somebody comes out with the truth, the hypocrites and phonies become enraged, because the truth is something that doesn’t exist in them. Jesus is the truth. He says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me.” They make a pretense of Christianity.

I’m going to break down the testimony of my son, Zion, and what he’s meaning, because to me he’s not a hypocrite. One thing I want everybody to remember is that when my son was around two years old, I was placed in prison on false charges for four and a half years. I received a six-year sentence and was out in four years, with a half year in a halfway house. The people who were around my boy were told how to be Christians around him, and they were not. This killed his thoughts that these were godly people. They were a bunch of bad people around him.

He got into this real honest and candid way of speaking, and I thank God because that’s the way I am. Some of the people said they thought, because he was around me all his life, that he shouldn’t be that way. Well, Aaron’s children were around him all their lives, and Eli’s children were around him, and they were wicked, and the Lord killed them.

My son testified that he hated the way the people were in the church, the ones he came in contact with. But he said that when he went to Los Angeles and met a lot of the baby Christians there who were on fire for the Lord, he saw something different. A lot of people start out on fire for the Lord, full of zeal to serve Him, and that’s the way many of the people are in the Los Angeles church. He saw them praying loudly and unashamedly.

Some of the people from the Fort Smith area went down there and were rebuking them for praising the Lord. Brian Broadbrake was one of them, and several others. Also, Debbie Andrassac thought the testimony he gave was terrible, and so did Sally Jamellin. Michelle thought it was awful too. But I thought, you three people don’t have any discernment. This was the best testimony I’ve ever heard. We’re going to read that to you later.

A lot of you around the church are hypocrites and phonies. For instance, Michelle Jones was married to a Black man and had a Black son. She let him come into the house because he works as the secretary there, and take his shoes off inside the house. But my son, Zion, the honest one, she made him stay out in the snow and take his shoes off. That doesn’t show me that she’s a Christian at all. This is the kind of stuff you see on a daily basis in the office and in the church. There are so many false accusations, and when people bring the truth out, they hate it.

Some of the ones accusing my boy of bringing a bad testimony have children who have fallen away from the Lord. They’re out in the world, and some are even bringing accusations against me, though they didn’t even know me. They never chastised their children, as the Bible commands that you do if you love your children. I told them to stop communicating with them because they’re really attacking the church. Once you’ve been excommunicated, you’re out, because they’re lying about this church.

When they say there are hypocrites here, they’re telling the truth. I don’t know a godly church in the world that doesn’t have hypocrites in it. The Lord said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, not hypocrites. If you want to get fed the truth, you come to this church.

There was a couple that came into the church tonight over in Los Angeles, a Black man married to a white woman, and there was no place for them because we’re packed out over there. They said they wanted to go see a grandma over in Michigan or someplace. I got hit because I don’t want anybody in the church that doesn’t want to serve the Lord, especially from the get-go. When I first was saved, I wanted to go tell everybody in the world. I wanted to find out what God wanted me to do. The last thought in my mind was to go see grandma, grandpa, mother, dad, or anybody. I just wanted to find out what God wanted me to do. This is the true spirit of any person who really gets saved.

There are a lot of rotten, catty, filthy, satanic people in the church who are jealous. If their sons have fallen away, they hate you if you have a godly son. That’s not the Spirit of God whatsoever. If their sons have something wrong with them, like they’re retarded or something, they get it in for an intelligent boy or son. That is satanic. That is not of the Lord. Would you agree with that?

Speaker 3: Yes.

Speaker 1: Okay, good. When you’re teaching people worldly things, I just brought a message about when a person gets saved. The first thing they want to do is drink in about the Lord. If that spirit is not in you, you’re not saved. You’re not of the Lord. You want to go tell others. Your desire is to tell others, and you have love for the people that really love the Lord.

I’m not saying that retardation is a sin, but it certainly isn’t a blessing either. It’s not any blessing from the Lord to have a retarded daughter or son. If the mother and father got hold of the Lord and started working for the Lord, the son would be healed. If the son showed any interest in the Lord, the Lord would reveal it, because the person who keeps their mind stayed upon the Lord will have perfect peace, and they’ll have a sound mind, not a retarded mind.

There is a very large need for people in churches to get right with the Lord. I just wanted to find out what God wanted. Nobody was around to say the Bible has the truth, so I went from one bookstore to another and started searching through all the books. I started reading some of them, and I could tell they were false, because God threatened me when He visited me in a Beverly Hills office, when I was doing a promotion for a singer named Bobby Jameson. He said, “Give up and tell the people in this room about the Lord Jesus Christ and that He’s coming back to earth again, or thou shalt surely die.”

When He said that, I went through a lot of changes with Him in there. You can read it in my testimony, a piece of literature I’ve written called Dry Bones. My deceased wife heard my testimony so many times that she said it was so good, like the testimony of the Apostle Paul, the way he got saved suddenly.

There are some people who can hear our messages all their life and never get saved. There is jealousy in the church. There were people who tried to break this church up on many occasions. When I was in prison, someone stated she wanted to take one of the church vehicles and go off together. There is just so much of that stuff, and my boy saw a lot of it. It made him feel that everybody in church was a hypocrite. He heard me talk about these things, and he knows there’s a lot of hypocrisy in the church.

Another man’s wife was stricken with blood clots in her legs just after she had a child. Elkanah is the husband of that woman. I started praying for her, and the Lord said, “No, Elkanah is not praying at all.” So I called him and said, “I was praying for your wife, and the Lord told me no, that you have to pray.” I asked him if what the Lord told me was true, and he said, “Yes, sir.” I said, “Well, don’t you want your wife to live?” He said, “Yes, I do.” I said, “Well, you better do what the Lord says.”

Other people were told that too. Like Michelle’s sister, Jennifer. I started praying for her because she had a rare disease, and the Lord told me she was going to die if she didn’t touch the throne. I told her, “The Lord let me pray for you, but you have to touch the throne tonight. If you do, you’ll live. If you don’t, you’ll die tonight.” She reached the throne, and this happened around twenty years ago or more, and she’s alive today. She has had five children since. She recovered immediately when she touched the throne.

People hear these messages, and they hear all the messages about the Bible. They could be in the strongest church. Like I said, the Bible tells you that Jesus had one devil out of twelve. I’ve got millions in my church, and I know the secular authorities listen to my messages because when I was in court, and other times I’ve seen them, they pull my gospel literature right out of their suit pockets and read it. Government agents told me that the minute I put out a new piece of literature, everybody in the government offices immediately reads it intently. They listen to my radio broadcasts.

The people out there believe my messages, and the people in the church profess that they believe the Lord. But the Lord had one who said, “You know, my Master, my Lord,” and kissed Him as a signal to betray Him. You’ve got Eli’s children; he didn’t chasten his kids. Aaron’s children weren’t chastened either. Aaron was a bad testimony when he built a golden calf for the people of Israel to worship.

Just because you’re in the house of the Lord or with the chosen flock of people, every single one of those people had to die too. Does that mean you want to die and go to hell yourself? That’s crazy to me. That’s insanity.

Anyway, we’ve got all these things to talk about on this program today. I’m sure that if you’re in a church today, you see the very same thing I’m talking about. I’ve heard T.D. Jakes talking about people in his congregation committing adultery with one another, and yet he tells them they’re all saved and blessed. I don’t believe that. I believe that the people in my church who are hypocrites are cursed, and it won’t be long before they’re gone, because God’s going to put people through a lot of trials, and they’re not going to be able to make it because there’s no fiber in them whatsoever.

Some people are such liars. You can see them reading something and say, “Why are you reading this?” and they say, “We’re not reading,” while everybody in the room can see them reading it. I could go on for hours about hypocrisy, lies, prejudice, cliques, false reports, thievery, fornication, suspected lesbianism, and homosexuality in churches. You say, “Why do you keep them?” Because I don’t take anybody into the church unless the Lord allows me to take them in, and I don’t throw anybody out of the church unless the Lord says, “That’s it. They’ve gone too far. Put them out.”

This couple that moved in tonight in Los Angeles said they wanted to move in and be married. They were shacking up together. The woman is, from what I hear, about 350 pounds. She’s 36 years old, and the man is 19 years old. He said he wanted to go see his grandmother. Most people would say, “That’s fine.” I said, “Well, go.” Then they decided they wanted to stay. But when the Lord Jesus Christ called me, there was no way I would see anybody else or talk to anyone. I just wanted to get hold of the Lord more and more. The woman said, “If he goes, I’m going with him.” That shows me neither one of them was really called by the Lord.

When Matthew, Mark, John, and the disciples were called by the Lord, they came immediately. They were mending nets with their dad, and they dropped them immediately and went. There’s not that kind of zeal in the church except my boy. I see he’s honest. He honestly said these things, at risk of making people believe I didn’t really give a good testimony to him. But again, I was in prison for the gospel’s sake for four years. When I came home, I was overloaded with work and couldn’t be with him as much as I wanted.

The office personnel let two years go by with different reports that had come in. All the office personnel were guilty of that. It was just piled here. It took me up to now, about eight years later, to catch up with this stuff. I couldn’t see how anyone could allow people in the church, where they had needs lists and things like that, and people outside the church needed things, to let their requests and pleadings lie around for two or more years. I despise people that don’t honor people’s requests, or hide them, or let them sit there for all those years and not do anything about it.

I would like to have you read my son’s testimony right here that he gave in the church tonight. It’s very nice. Read the part that Debbie Andrassac and Sally Jamellin thought was awful and horrible, and that I needed to hear. I thought it was wonderful. It shows me those two don’t have any discernment. Michelle thought it was wicked also. Okay, go ahead.

Speaker 2: From Debbie Andrassac: Tonight’s testimony was not in the spirit of the Lord.

Speaker 1: It was the most in-the-spirit-of-the-Lord testimony that there has been, with the exception of Buster. Buster is another real Christian. This man has totally helped me in changing the entire church. There were a bunch of slothful things going on in the church. The warehouses were in disarray. The property was in disarray. I’m able to send him to New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Fort Smith, and everywhere, and he gives me honest reports of what is happening because he doesn’t care whether it hurts people’s feelings or not. He’s not a hypocrite.

So Zion has a very honest report here, and she thinks it’s not in the spirit. I want to warn Debbie Andrassac that if you say that an in-the-spirit testimony is of the devil, you’re in danger of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Okay, because it was in the spirit. Now go ahead.

Speaker 2: He was talking about not seeing much Christian testimony as he was growing up.

Speaker 1: That is absolutely the truth. She just wants to say he should be a hypocrite and say that he did see good Christian testimonies out of Michelle, Angel, Chini, Sharon, and all the other phonies. Go ahead.

Speaker 2: And then she said he didn’t believe in God.

Speaker 1: They caused him to not believe in God. He thought everything was just a sham. This happened while I was away for four and a half years, including a half year in a halfway house. Then what?

Speaker 2: Quite a few other things were said which sounded bad.

Speaker 1: She thought Zion sounded bad. I’ll let you be the judge. Being truthful is bad to her. Then what?

Speaker 2: Like saying most of his friends took off except two of them.

Speaker 1: That’s true. They took off or had to be put out of the church. Two of her sons took off too, but she doesn’t talk about that. They were terrible testimonies, and they were attacking the church at this very moment. Then what else?

Speaker 2: He said he was jacked before he was saved.

Speaker 1: That’s true. The ones that jacked him were these people in the office, and people’s sons in the church whose parents didn’t chasten them and bring them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Then what?

Speaker 2: The tape of the service is coming over with Sally.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I was very glad that it did. And you, Michelle, who helped her, you typed it up, right?

Speaker 3: Yes, transcribed it.

Speaker 1: You transcribed it. Isn’t typing or writing it out transcribing?

Speaker 3: Yes.

Speaker 1: So you don’t have to tell me, okay? Are you trying to get even though? Yeah, it means I’m exposing you. Okay, go ahead and keep reading Zion’s testimony.

Speaker 4: I’m very thankful to be part of this gathering. When I was very young, I’d always get haunted by these demons, and it was really messed up. My mind was really jacked. I thought a number of different things because I had seen different people in different churches. I didn’t really believe, basically, what any of us believe now, or anything like that.

Speaker 1: See, he’s saying right there “what we believe now,” because I’m not a prisoner, and I’ve been bringing a series of messages where a lot of the people in the church are now up to speed, and some of them really are wanting to serve the Lord. They’re full of desire to serve God. He’s telling the truth so far.

Speaker 3: Yes.

Speaker 1: What about you, Angel?

Speaker 3: Yes.

Speaker 1: What about you, Sharon, his mother?

Speaker 3: Yes.

Speaker 1: He’s telling the truth. There’s not one lie here and not one bad thing here. Then what?

Speaker 4: Because I had seen a lot of people that I figured were basically phonies.

Speaker 1: Yep, and I see them too. She thinks it’s bad to expose the phonies. But the Lord called the Pharisees and Sadducees phonies, and He stated that one of you twelve is a devil. That’s what my boy is telling. He saw a lot of phonies, and I see them too. There’s nothing bad about that. Go ahead.

Speaker 4: I never really saw anybody that I thought was real.

Speaker 1: Right. Buster White says the same thing. He is really doing a tremendous job of serving the Lord. Then what?

Speaker 4: I would always have these messed-up thoughts in my head about different people, and that always led me to look down upon just about everybody. I never read the Bible either.

Speaker 1: Because they didn’t make him read the Bible. They let him watch television and play video games while I was gone. These things happen in churches when there are a lot of phonies. Then what?

Speaker 4: I never saw any proof about anything that was in there. I thought that if I didn’t see any proof, I couldn’t believe anything that I couldn’t see was really true.

Speaker 1: That’s the way I was too. So far, it’s very truthful. And what?

Speaker 4: Later on, it was the time I ended up going to L.A. I saw different people out there. At first I thought everybody was crazy, but after a while I realized they were real.

Speaker 1: They were really saved. In Los Angeles, the new baby Christians are in the prayer room praying, “Thank You, Jesus. Praise You, Father God. Thank You, Jesus. I love You, Lord.” I can hear them from the brothers’ dorm crying out like that on their prayer hours all night long, and I live about a half a block from them. You can hear them. They’re really on fire, especially at first. Then what?

Speaker 4: So it convicted me pretty bad, and I just started reading the Bible.

Speaker 1: Because he never saw that his whole life around the office while I was in prison. When I got out, I was buried in all these reports. Then what?

Speaker 4: I just started reading the Bible when I woke up and right before I went to sleep, and that was a start. God just used that to cut real deep into everything I was thinking. Just about all my friends basically believed the same thing I did, and just about all of them are gone except for two.

Speaker 1: Right, because there’s so much hypocrisy. Parents never read with those children. The Lord states that it’s our job to teach our children, that they might teach their children’s children, and that their children’s children will teach their children the Word of God. But they don’t. They never command them or tell them that they must be on the altar at all times and must be consecrated, sold out to the Lord. They let them stay in the world. They teach them worldliness. Then what else?

Speaker 4: They all took off.

Speaker 1: They didn’t find the truth, even in this church. But the Lord told me to do a series of tapes, and from the very day I started doing that, the Lord blessed us thousands of times more than ever before. I thought the people in the church who had been around for years were teaching the baby Christians and their kids. I said, “Lord, they’re not doing it.” He said, “You do it.” I said, “Lord, You’ve got me writing literature. How am I going to do an hour program?” He said, “You do it.” So I started doing it.

Then finances came. There were so many repairs that needed to be done in the church. They were living in a swamp with poison oak and poison ivy around them. Enough finances came in for me to repair everything and put up sorely needed buildings after I started breaking the scriptures down to the people in the church and in the world. Our radio bills come into tens of thousands of dollars every month, and the Lord likes it because the Word of God is getting out.

Then what else?

Speaker 4: That’s where I was about to be headed to. I figured at least the stuff out there I could see. I could believe it and understand what was going on. But later on, I decided to make my stand here because I had seen different things when I was in L.A. My bunkie would get attacked by demons, and I said, “Man, this is crazy.” I was like, “Man, it’s all real.” Because if there’s a demon, there’s got to be an angel. If there’s an angel, there’s got to be a Creator, and it’s God. He heard everything I was thinking before, and I was like, “Man, I hope there is still a chance here.” Then I was like, “Man, I don’t know if there’s a chance left,” because I was right in the middle of everything and I didn’t believe any of it.

Speaker 1: The people in the church didn’t read my literature to the children, and that’s why they left. There was no fiber of God in them. They were not trained up in the way they should go. No one read my literature to them. He never heard my testimony. They never heard the Bible. The children in the church weren’t hearing the literature I had written. The Lord told me to write all the supernatural experiences I had, and I did. I’ve written hundreds of pieces of literature and possibly thousands of tapes. They didn’t play the tapes to them. They never read the literature to them, and they never read the Bible to them.

Some women in the church would walk around in front of their children scantily dressed, and they let them see things and be involved in things that were not good. When I started throwing them out because they had lewd pictures, they thought that was awful of me and that I should be like other churches. But I’m not.

I feel that everything he’s saying here is wonderful. These people are trying to level a boy who’s telling the truth, my son. I’m telling him that this man is preaching the truth. They said it was bad that he should say things like that because he lived around me. He never lived around me. How old was he when I went to prison for the gospel?

Speaker 3: He was two.

Speaker 1: So I was away four years, and then a half year in a halfway house. He was six and a half years old. He had never heard my literature, never heard my tapes, never was read the Bible. He was around a bunch of hypocrites. I was locked up. I couldn’t go anywhere and do anything. Then what?

Speaker 4: I just said, “Well, strengthen the things that remain,” or whatever. So I started doing the best I could, reading whenever I had the chance, really paying attention to the messages.

Speaker 1: The messages I was bringing, which he had never heard before, but he was hearing now. Isn’t he telling the truth?

Speaker 3: Yes.

Speaker 1: Why don’t you say amen?

Speaker 3: Amen.

Speaker 1: Okay. Then what?

Speaker 4: Like one of the other brothers I was fellowshipping with, we were the same age and everything, and I said he had done worse than me. I said, “I never used to read.” He said, “I never owned a Bible.”

Speaker 1: Here is a young man in the church who never owned a Bible. There’s even a testimony from the newspaper. They said, when I was touring them around, I took them into a home of some of the people who are now bringing false accusations. They said there wasn’t even a Bible in the homes we built for them. I could read that out of a newspaper article that goes back around twenty-four years ago.

The people in this church have not followed the Lord’s commandments, and the Lord is going to destroy them for it. There’s no way they can get out of this for letting everything slide for all these years. Some will argue with me even when I show them where they’re wrong. I’m hit more from some of the people that the devil sent in here than I am from people out in the world.

Speaker 4: I said, okay, it was messed up where I was going. Finally, through different events and the people I saw in L.A., it really convicted me. I found that it was true, and I saw different evidences, like pictures of the Ark and ruins of Gomorrah and Sodom. I was like, “This is messed up.” One of my friends was like, “No man, this is boring. This is stupid.” I was like, “Man, I don’t know. It scares me.” Later on, it’s a good thing that some brothers—

Speaker 1: He’s a real brother now. He really decided to make a stand on the right side. A lot of these children and their parents had never taught them anything. Now they’re reading the Bible because they’re hearing the tapes. The Lord was wise to have me be the older Christian. He said, “There are no older Christians in this church. You be the older Christian. You know My Word. You know it correctly, and you start bringing these messages to them.” I’ve been doing this for about three years, and it’s starting to straighten out now.

Speaker 4: I’m thankful that us three decided to stay, even though most of the other ones who were my friends all took off. I’m just glad that us three decided to make a stand. God is watching me. He knew what I was doing, and He knew what I was going to do, that I was going to make my decision. He just kept His hand over me long enough to make my decision. I’m just thankful He kept me this long, and I’m looking forward to the future. Praise God.

Speaker 1: Anyone could think that was a bad testimony? That’s one of the best testimonies I’ve ever heard in this church because it’s so truthful. What he should have said, though, is that my dad was away in prison for four years and was telling them to do the right thing, but they didn’t do it. Then when I got out, I was buried by all this stuff.

A lot of people think that because you’re a world pastor and the Lord is into you, that the kids are going to be all right. They can’t be all right unless you let them hear the gospel too.

Eli was killed by the Lord. He was a fat man, and he fell off his throne and broke his neck, and it killed him. Aaron had to die also, and Aaron’s children and Eli’s children had to die. They had supposedly strong men of the Lord in charge of them.

I thank the Lord that He told me to start being the older Christian to everybody in the church. As far as Buster is concerned, he helps me out because he goes into all the different areas and sees where they’re slacking off, where there’s filth, where it would be a bad testimony to everyone in the church. He doesn’t hate anybody at all. He just reports what he sees and lets me make the decision on it.

Now go ahead and read the first letter from Omaha, Nebraska. First, Father, anoint the service. I know You already have. I was very tired this evening. When I heard them knocking this fantastic testimony of Zion’s, this fantastically true testimony, the Lord said, “Do that this evening. Do it.” I thank You and praise the Lord for having a son who tells the truth. I see that people hate him, and so I know he’s of the Lord. Lord, save souls and strengthen the church. In Jesus’ name. Go ahead.

Speaker 2: The first letter is from Omaha, Nebraska. Hello, Tony Alamo and friends. I’m writing you this in regard to your Mass Suicide article. I loved it.

Speaker 1: The people in the church out there, even in the world, if they hear these messages, they get saved. You can hear them say, “A hundred people got saved,” “997 people got saved,” “A thousand people got saved,” “Our whole town got saved,” thousands of people and so on. I know what I’m doing is even pulling some of these dead dogs. But some of them are still really concerned about truthful messages. Step out of the closet like that, and I know just who you are. I despise people who hate truth. Then what?

Speaker 2: I would love to have many more copies of this to distribute all over the Omaha area. I’m a servant of the Most High God and will do anything to get His message out.

Speaker 1: See, that’s what happens to a real person of the Lord. Now, these two people who moved in tonight said they wanted to go see Grandma. They didn’t say, “I found salvation. I found the truth. I want to tell everybody else.” I always tell people, get the Word of God in you first, get the Spirit of the Lord in you first, and then you can go tell others. But if there’s no desire to tell others, there’s no zeal. Then what?

Speaker 2: Romans 8:28–30: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate.”

Speaker 1: All things work together. They could have gone through all these requests. They could have read the Bible to my boy. They could have read the tracts to him. They could have let him hear the tapes, but they didn’t. It makes me angry that they let so many hundreds of thousands of people fall away.

Speaker 2: “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son.”

Speaker 1: Are people that believe truthful testimonies are bad, when they’re telling the truth, conformed to the image of Christ? No, they’re not. Christ levels people. He comes right out and says that homosexuality and lesbianism and fornication and all these things are from the devil. He barbecued Sodom and Gomorrah to prove that He meant what He said.

People who don’t teach people, give them the literature and tapes, make them read it, make them read the Bible, and teach them the way they should go—those people are not of the Lord. They’re wicked and evil. Then what else?

Speaker 2: “That He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called; and whom He called, them He also justified; and whom He justified, them He also glorified. Please send as many copies of Mass Suicide as you think I need, one hundred or ten thousand. I will pass them all out. May the Most High God bless all of His sheep in the name of Jesus. Amen. I’m originally from Morrilton, Arkansas, and I’m an excommunicated Missionary Baptist preacher who is currently in prison and am seeking the truth. I’m also an autograph collector of fellow Christian radio ministers. I know deep within my own heart and mind that you will never see this letter or honor my request because you are too big and valuable to give me what I ask for.

Speaker 1: I want to just remain little and do the things of the older Christian to Christians, be a soul winner, and bring them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Then what?

Speaker 2: However, would you, in Jesus’ holy name, be so kind to personally and authentically autograph a Tony Alamo Worldwide Ministries logo letterhead for my very large and ever-growing collection?

Speaker 1: Well, flattery will get you nowhere. I’ll send it to you. Somebody pull one out and sign it for him. The main thing is I want to send him the letterhead. Then what else?

Speaker 2: Before I forget, my parents and I used to eat at your restaurant, the Alamo, there in Alma. It was great, with very warm-hearted Christians.

Speaker 1: That’s Alma, Arkansas, in case you people in Europe, New York, or other places in the world don’t know where Alma is. It was on Highway 71, just south of 540. Then what else?

Speaker 1: Okay, and we have a stack of other testimonies here, but they’re pretty long. I want to get into some Bible reading here and finish a piece of literature that I wrote just the other night. Let’s continue on with that. Oh, we’re out of time, but go ahead and read a couple lines anyway.

Speaker 2: We begin to abide in Christ in a practical way. We fellowship with Christ. We enjoy Jesus and experience Jesus.

Speaker 1: Right. We have to experience the Lord. If the Lord is abiding in you, then He’s teaching people through you. He’s not sitting out there watching television or playing video games. A lot of times the Lord will have me turn the TV on for the news and other items, but while I’m doing that, I’m praying to the Lord. I know the people who have been doing that for years have not been praying to the Lord, and they never did a work for the Lord at all. Go ahead.

Speaker 2: We call this the second part, or the stage of abiding in Jesus.

Speaker 1: Now you can see what destruction has happened in this church. This is the hardest-hitting church I know of in the whole world, the one that ruthlessly tears people away from Satan and brings them into the fold of the Lord. That happens because we abide in the Lord, and the Lord abides in me. It’s the Lord doing these things, not me.

You could have the Lord abiding in you if you just say this prayer to the Lord. Just say: My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God. I believe He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. I believe that You, God, raised Jesus from the dead. You, Jesus, took Yourself up from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. I open the doors of my heart and ask You to come in. Wash all my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed for me. You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus. You will save my soul, I know, because Your Word says so. Your Word says You will turn no one away, and that includes me. I know You’ve heard me and answered me, and I know I’m saved. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul.
