Ep195, How To Have Gods Life Living In You, Part 93,
Six-Paragraph Summary
Grace as Spiritual Power
The episode begins with Tony Alamo introducing part 93 of How to Have God’s Life Living in You and program 195. He opens in prayer, asking God to anoint the message and help listeners understand the Word by faith. The early discussion focuses on the meaning of grace, which Alamo argues should be understood as God’s power and strengthening influence rather than merely “undeserved favor.” Sharon reads Ephesians 4:29 and lexicon material, which Alamo uses to support his teaching that grace equips believers to live in obedience and resist sin.
Scripture, Authority, and Religious Warning
Alamo then turns to a broader discussion of biblical authority, Bible translations, secular government, and what he identifies as false teaching. He presents his view that the King James Version best reflects the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek originals, while criticizing other translations and religious figures he believes mislead Christians. Throughout this section, he frames salvation as dependent on faith in Jesus Christ, obedience to God’s Word, and rejection of what he describes as Antichrist doctrine. These statements are presented as Alamo’s religious teaching within the broadcast.
Letters from Listeners and Ministry Outreach
Sharon reads letters from listeners in Argentina, Nigeria, California, and the United Kingdom. These letters thank the ministry for literature, request Bibles and books, and describe the impact of the materials on new converts, nursing students, and listeners overseas. Alamo responds by emphasizing the ministry’s outreach to pastors, churches, Catholic priests, Muslims, and international listeners. He also discusses donations, food support, and plans to send representatives to verify needs in Africa and India.
Personal Testimony and Endurance
Alamo shares personal stories about his prison experience, his lack of fear when confronted by gangs, and his belief that God gave him power to endure persecution. He also recalls receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit while living near a freeway and being interrupted by distractions, including a car crash outside. He presents these experiences as evidence of God’s power and the need to rely on divine strength rather than fear, false doctrine, or worldly authority.
Consecration at the Cross
The central teaching of the latter half of the program concerns consecration. Alamo explains consecration as surrendering complete ownership of oneself to Christ because Christ bought believers with His blood. He teaches that believers are to live at the cross, die to their former lives, obey God, and allow Christ to live and work through them. Sharon reads material describing the need for unceasing consecration, the constraint of God’s love, and the sweetness that believers can find even in suffering when they are touched by divine love.
A Call to Salvation and Continued Obedience
The program closes with Alamo teaching from Romans 12:1 about presenting the body as a living sacrifice. He compares consecration to Old Testament sacrifices, saying the former life must end when a believer gives themselves to God. He then leads listeners in a sinner’s prayer, asking them to invite Jesus into their hearts and become laborers for God. Sharon provides contact information for receiving a free audio tape or CD, and Alamo ends by urging listeners to let God do something good in them and tune in for part 94.

Grace, Consecration, and the Power to Live God’s Life
Speaker Identification
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo / Main Speaker
The transcript identifies the main speaker at the opening as “World Pastor Tony Alamo.” He introduces the program, delivers the main teaching, responds to letters, comments on scripture, and closes the program.
Speaker 2 – Sharon / Reader and Assistant
The main speaker addresses “Sharon” by name several times. She appears to read scripture, lexicon definitions, listener letters, station information, and contact information when prompted.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Hi again. This is World Pastor Tony Alamo.
Today we are in part 93 of How to Have God’s Life Living in You, and this is program 195. At the end of the program, we will tell you how you can receive a copy of it, free of charge, with postage and handling taken care of by us also. Just let us know whether you want an audio tape or a CD, and we will be glad to send it to you.
We have some letters and scripture, and also the message on consecration. Now let’s go to the throne of the Lord and ask Him. The Lord is enthroned in my heart and in every born-again, Spirit-filled Christian. But let’s go to the throne now in heaven, where we sit with Christ in heavenly places, and ask Him, as I know He will, to anoint everything that is on this tape.
Lord, let the hearers be able to be saved and understand Your Word by faith in it, instead of faith in secular power. Lord, let the Church be lifted up on high and given grace, in other words, great power.
Now, Sharon, you found the meaning of grace. Father, we ask You to do all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen and amen.
Sharon, you found in the lexicon what I have been saying for years about the word grace. The false prophets are saying that it is undeserved favor from God.
First of all, Christians, if you as a sinner come to the Lord Jesus Christ, humble yourself, confess your sins before Him, and vow to God not to sin any longer, and let the power of the Lord enter into your soul and into your spirit, then you are saved. You have been given the power not to sin any longer. This is what grace is.
You become a son of God, and it is not undeserved favor, as the false prophets say. What was the scripture that you were mentioning, Sharon, about it being grace?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
That no corrupt communication proceeds out of your mouth.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
But that which is good to the use of edifying.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
That which is good to the use of edifying.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
That it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
That it may minister grace unto you.
In other words, should it minister undeserved favor unto you? I don’t want undeserved favor ministered unto me. I want to become a son of God. The Bible says that if we deserve to be sons of God, then we deserve it. It says that He makes the sons of God. So that is power. What that is, really, is power to take a natural person and make them a supernatural person.
We always have to remember, if we are Christians, that there has been super put into us, and super given to us. A lot of people do not believe that. They believe they should just keep sinning all the time, keep believing a lie all the time, and not listen to authority.
Now, these new Bibles that are out tell you that the authorities of God are the secular government. I keep saying this because it needs to be said. People are reading these ungodly Bibles. The original Bibles, which are Hebrew, Aramaic, and the Hellenic Greek, the best translation of them is the King James Version.
All these other versions seem to give the authority over to the Antichrist. It says these are voted in by the people, the masses of people, which have always been wrong. How could these be the power of God when they were not given any power in this world by God? They were voted in, or they inherited power from some other reprobate because they were in the lineage of some reprobate that lived a long time ago, somebody that was not saved.
The Lord states in His Word that the Jews are not ever to have any Gentile king over them. That is an abomination to the Lord. The speaker states that the Lord says Gentiles, meaning unbelievers, are dogs and pigs. He puts a pig and a dog in the same category, according to the speaker. A people that will not receive His Word, the speaker says, are dogs and pigs.
They get uptight because we say that. It makes me very unpopular to tell people what the true Word of God says, but I am not ashamed of the true Word of God, the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, because it is the power of God unto salvation to those who believe the Word. It is the power of God.
Now Jesus is the wisdom of God. He is the wisdom for us to be saved by God. Why is that wisdom? Because there is nothing other than Jesus to be saved. Anything else is foolishness. It is satanic. It is Antichrist. Jesus becomes God’s wisdom to us to be saved. Therefore, Jesus is the wisdom and power of God, because there is no other power but Christ to be saved. Jesus is the power of God for us to be saved because we cannot be saved through any other.
The Bible says Jesus is the power of the Lord unto salvation. If you are trying to use any other wisdom or any other secular power, you are spiritually crazy.
Now God is the wisdom of God for us to be saved. In other words, Jesus is the Word of God. If anyone wants to dispute that, some people told me when I was in prison for the gospel, “Jesus never said that He was God.” He said it many times in the book of Revelation and in the Gospels.
They asked Him if He was the king. They said, “We are not stoning You because of anything You have done. We are stoning You because You say that You are the Son of God.” In other words, it is the same as saying You are God. Jesus proved that He was God because they killed Him and put Him in a grave, and He ascended from death, hell, and the grave. That proved He was God.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Then He ascended into heaven and was viewed by over 500 people, not to mention all the different souls that He raised from the dead before and all the people He healed. Whole towns of people were healed. Only God can do that, right?
That is why we have to have God living in us, so that He is His power and His wisdom in us, if we believe that He is in us. A lot of people do not believe that. They get so offended if you say the truth about their sons or daughters. They just get so upset. They defend them more than they do the gospel.
If you tell them what God says, they get extremely angry. But if you tell them what their sons have done, and then finally the son or daughter comes and confesses what they have done, then they are ashamed a little bit, but they are still angry because you did what the Lord said. So the child is actually better than the mother or the dad.
All right. Now come and read that scripture to them. Move out of the way just a minute, please. Let Sharon come in here and read this.
Now what are we reading here, first of all?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
This is Ephesians chapter 4, verse 29.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
And what does it have to do with?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
With grace.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
With the meaning of grace?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Yes.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Then you have the lexicon?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Yes.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Okay. Now they are all saying it is undeserved favor. Read it now, and then explain afterward how it relates to what I am always saying.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Does that administer undeserved favor to people? Do you think I am in the ministry to administer undeserved favor to them, to tell them there is no such thing as sin? You would have to be a very filthy-minded person to think something like this. You just want some kind of excuse to sin.
Okay. What does the lexicon say?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
It says, “What God exerting His holy influence...”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Is this part of the explanation of what grace is?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Yes.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Okay, then go ahead.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
“What God, exerting His holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge...”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
It strengthens them in power. Some of the other definitions give them power with grace. Grace means to strengthen. It does not mean undeserved favor. It means strengthen.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
It does not mean undeserved favor. It means power.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Okay. Then what does it mean instead of undeserved favor?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
“Increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Why would false prophets call this undeserved favor? Because they want you to believe that you are a sinner and that you can never be anything else but a sinner. For people who believe they are sinners and nothing else, they are destroying what the Bible calls the power of grace, the power of God.
In other words, they do not believe that God’s power is powerful enough to stop a person from sinning or give them the power not to sin anymore. They are preaching Antichrist doctrine. They are influencing people to fall away and just live and have fun with everyday life, like Joyce Meyer preaches. That is why Paul said he suffers not a woman to teach. She is a prime example of that, and also Joni Lamb.
Other than that, I have nothing personal against them whatsoever. I do not have anything against them other than their false doctrine.
Okay. What else does it say?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
“So sustaining and aiding the efforts of the men who labor for the cause of Christ.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
It aids them. It gives them power to minister the gospel, because you are going to go through persecution, trials, and tribulations. I just thank God that I did not get undeserved favor. I got power from God to be able to endure all these false prophets and to expose them, as the Bible says I must. Not as I should, but as I must.
I want the powers of Satan to be bound on this earth, and the only way to do it is to expose them. The proper way to expose the devil is with the scriptures.
Okay. Then what else?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
“The favor of Christ, assisting and strengthening His followers and ministers to bear their troubles.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
The Lord favors them. He is giving them not undeserved favor, but favor because they deserve it. He strengthens them because they are out there doing, letting Him live in them and work in them. He is giving them help. He is succoring them. He is giving them power, helping them, helping the people of the Lord continue on to the end.
The Lord says He does not leave us without comfort.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Yes.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
He says He is the Comforter. He comforts us by helping us. We feel His strength helping us along, assisting us, because that makes us know that we are still saved. We are not sinning, and we are able to endure persecution.
He is assisting us, succoring us, helping us along. When I feel Him helping and making a way where there seems to be none, and He delivers me from one thing after another, that is power.
Even while I was in prison for the gospel’s sake, the guards were against me because they believed the false things that were said about me in the media. They were against me. They were trying to get people to kill me. There were at least 15 to 20 different gangs in each prison I went through, and they would come up against me, like the Muslims, and I won them to the Lord.
People would say, “It isn’t because of what you say that we believe you. It is because you have no fear whatsoever to face these gangs in here.” Bloodthirsty gangs, the Indian gangs, the Mexican Mafia, the Nazis, the Nazi skinheads. There were people saying, “Heil Hitler,” and all this stuff in prison. I wonder what good they think that is going to do them at the judgment bar of God.
Then you have the Bloods, the Crips, the Bones, and all the different gangs. There are just so many of them. I won the leader of the Bone family in Memphis to the Lord. His name is Reggie Jackson. He wrote three pieces of literature, and we put them out. They were real nice for a young Christian. They were just really nice. He was a former Muslim.
We see that the literature I write is winning many Muslims overseas, and even witch doctors and the most corrupt people on the face of this earth, people who would love to kill you and would love to kill other people. Some of them have confessed that they murder people all the time and now feel sorry for that, and they are now winning people to the Lord.
This ministry is reaching people. Then we see the black people. The little children over there are so cute and pretty children. We just sent $50,000 over there. We gave it to James Robison Ministries. I asked the Lord, “Is this guy going to give that money to those kids?” The Lord says, “If he doesn’t, I’ll tear him to pieces.” So I felt consoled by that. I keep watching him now and then to see if God has torn him to pieces yet. Then I see them feeding the children and everything, and I am really happy to know that the money is going to the kids.
We feed the people here in the United States as much as we possibly can. So $50,000 went over there this last week. We had an extra influx come in from our neighbors. I am sending Buster over there soon with his wife to check out some of these African and India ministries, or people who need help over there. If they do, he is being sent over there with between $50,000 and $100,000 to get the food right there, because I want to know for sure.
Instead of sending it through Rod Parsley or James Robison, we are going to do it ourselves. If those guys can do it, I can do it. That is for sure. I can do all things in Christ Jesus. I am more than a conqueror in Christ. If you do the will of the Lord, you will be too, because He has given me grace, in other words, power to do all things in Christ Jesus. All things. He gives the same to you.
So do not sit around idle. Get busy for the Lord. This is the time of His coming. It is close.
Okay. What else does it say about grace? This supposed undeserved favor is not undeserved favor. It is the power of God that He gives us. And what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
It says, “The aggregate of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Powers and gifts. That is what grace means. Power. The gifts of God are powerful. Friends, I asked for the gift to be able to write. The Lord gave it to me, and it is powerful. You can see all the souls being saved. It is God’s power, not mine, but He gave this power to me so I can stay saved and endure the persecution that comes when I preach the gospel. Satan does not like you or me. I know for sure he does not like me.
But I know I have the power of God in me. I can pray down rain on this earth, or I can ask the Lord and tell the rain to stop, and it does.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Every time.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
But I want it to rain now, because we just planted some corn, tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumbers, squash, and things like that. Now I want it to rain from time to time. I do not want it to have a drought. Now that I am a farmer, I have been on farms off and on in my life a lot. I worked hard in the fields, so I know that we need rain.
Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
One more meaning on grace: “Used of the power to undertake and administer the apostolic office.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Right. That is the power to do it. I have God’s power. I have this grace, and by the grace of God, by the power of God, I will do all things. I could not do this on my own. If you are in the ministry, you cannot do anything for the Lord on your own. We are going to be judged by the works that we do or do not do.
The Lord says to take up the cross and follow Him. That does not mean to just sit around idle or to go to a service once a week, twice a week, or seven times a week. That means we are to be busy ministering the Word or helping minister the Word.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Anything else on that?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Okay.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Now, that is from the lexicon, and I knew this from the Lord. He told me that is what grace means. It means the power of God. The law came by Moses, but grace and truth, power and the truth of God, came by Jesus Christ, because Jesus is the truth. He is the Word of God, and the Word of God is the truth.
Now, you have a letter here?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Yes.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Where is it from?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Argentina.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Argentina. That is in South America. What does it say?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
“Peace from the Lord, Pastor Alamo. I would like to thank you for the literature you sent entitled Mass Suicide. They were a great impact, as always, on our lives. I would like to request 15 Bibles, as well as Messiah books for the new converts that just got saved. Until next time. Thank you very much. Pastor Missionary Ricardo Arias from Tafí Viejo, Argentina.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
The Lord has given me the power to aid pastors all over the world. I am now pastoring pastors by the hundreds and even the thousands. People come up to me from churches locally, even Episcopalian churches, and say, “I thought you would like to know that our pastor, our priest, is using your literature to bring messages in our church.” I said, “Praise the Lord for that.”
Okay. Then what else?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
In Nigeria.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
And we are also sending all kinds of literature and messages to Catholic priests in different countries. A lot of the priests do not know how wicked the hierarchy is in the Vatican. I have a lot of fellowship with Catholic priests, and some of them are very wonderful people. Wonderful people. They are just ignorant, that is all.
Okay, then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
“Dear Pastor Alamo, I have to tell you this. The two pieces of literature you sent to me have made a great difference in the life of my roommate in our hospital. He is a Muslim. I did not give him the literature, but just found him reading it. He said he loved the literature so much. Please, I need as many as you can afford to send to me so that I can distribute to my fellow nursing students. I also need a Bible, the one printed in large letters. Thank you, sir.” This is from Israel, from Fakaji, Nigeria, Africa.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Praise the Lord. We will send him everything he wants.
Okay, then what else?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
From Monterey Park, California.
“Thank you, Pastor Alamo, for the literature. The teachings revealed by God and His Word truly surprise me. I would like you to send me literature regarding the Pope, Antichrist, and the Vatican.” From Oscar in Monterey Park, California.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
I recently helped a couple of people in the congregation buy a piece of property. The man I was dealing with on the phone for these two people, when I got out of the car, immediately said, “My God, I didn’t realize that you were so young. That raspy voice of yours makes you sound like you are in your 70s or something.” I said, “Well, I am 71 years old.” He said, “No, no, you are not. You look like you are about 45 to 50.”
People say that all the time. I have to tell them, because they think I am lying. I say, “Well, I did this back in 1950, and I was in the Navy in 1951.” They look at me like I am lying. So I have to come out and tell them my age.
I guess because I preach so much, it causes me to have this raspy voice. There is another man I knew, Brother Aguri, and he had a very raspy voice, even worse than mine. It was because he preached so much gospel. He was the one preaching the message over the radio when I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The man definitely was led by the Lord on that message.
I had a hard time receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, because every time I tried, there would be something like somebody flying a model airplane right over my house, zooming down on the roof. Or else the parakeets would be knocking on the door, wanting to witness to me from Jehovah’s Witnesses. They just wanted to argue and argue, and that would distract me.
This time, the Lord really helped me and gave me the power. People are in the ministry, and I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When I did, we were living in a shack, a $60-a-month shack right next to the freeway. You could hear the cars going by. All of a sudden, just as I was receiving it, there was a big car crash that made all kinds of noise. But I said to myself, “I am not going to let this stop me.” I just kept speaking in tongues. I never stopped speaking in tongues for hours after that. It was just so supernatural.
I was worried about the people in the wreck, but I knew it was just the devil trying to stop me from receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. There were all kinds of ambulances out there and everything. While I was doing that, I was praying that they were all right and nobody got hurt.
So do not let the devil overpower you, because he has no power against the power of God, none whatsoever. Be encouraged when the Lord says that you have the power and He has given us rulership of the world.
Now understand that in the garden, Adam and Eve disbelieved God. He said, “Thou shalt surely die.” The devil came and said, “No, do not believe God. Thou shalt not surely die. You are going to be like God, and God does not want that.” He said, according to the speaker, that God does not want you to know what He knows. “So go ahead and eat from the tree. You are not going to die.” But of course, they did die, and all of humanity fell.
Now God says to those who believe God that there is a hell and that they will go there, and that you are not going to believe the same dirty lie that Satan told Adam and Eve. God promised they would die, and people do die. Now Satan is telling people, “Thou shalt not surely die and go to hell.” They say there is no Gehenna or lake of fire, but the Lord says they will go to the lake of fire for believing Satan rather than God.
He promises that there is no more forgiveness if you sin and that no sinners shall enter the kingdom of heaven. So Satan has his ministers by the millions on earth today telling you things. Satan is always bombarding your mind, telling you that the very ones God has sent to try to pump power into your brain are the ones you do not want to believe. Those are the ones who are going to be going to hell for sure if they do not repent.
You people have heard hundreds and even thousands of messages from true people of the Lord, and you had better believe what God promises, because no matter what any devil is telling you, the Lord is the truth, and the devil that is talking to you is a liar. Do you believe that?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
I believe it too. “Thou shalt die.” The book of Revelation tells us that to be sent into hell, where there are torments, and the Bible talks about that all throughout the Bible, especially the New Testament. That is the New Covenant, because the Jews broke the old covenant. So God made a new covenant, that He would even give us the power not to sin. Christ promised that He would become the Comforter, and He would live in us and give us the power so that we do not sin, because He wants to be sure that we go to heaven.
But if you disbelieve that, you shall surely die, and you shall surely go to hell and the lake of fire. Believe me, the Bible says this place of torment is eternal. It never ends. So please believe the Lord for your own sake.
If you do not do it, I get as much credit whether you get saved or do not, because I am telling you. The Lord does not discredit me for your unbelief. If you do not believe, that is on you, friend. But if you believe, that is for your benefit, not God’s or mine, because I am getting the same credit for talking to you about the Lord and telling you the plan of salvation, whether you believe it or not.
I feel very good all the time when I give the testimonies. If you want to be hard-hearted, hard-headed, stiff-necked, unbelieving, and trying to be a smart aleck, you are just hurting yourself. You are cheating yourself if you are cheating God. There was a song a long time ago that came out of the entertainment industry: “You’re cheating yourself if you’re cheating on me.” That was a big song back in the 1940s or 1950s. Have you ever heard it before?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
No.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Because you think I was just hatched out recently. But I have the experience, so I know that song.
Okay. Then what else have you got there?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
From the United Kingdom.
“Dear Pastor Alamo, we used to listen to your ministry on our little shortwave radio at 7.49. The past few nights we have tuned in, and there has not been your transmission.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Right. I know they took me off the air there because I was telling the truth about the Catholic cult and the world government. They got scared because they probably had a few threats. But if you are fearful of the Antichrist, it is the same as blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Immediately another station picked me up over there. We are going to give you the call letters of that one.
Instead of being on once a day, we are on three times a day now. The Lord really compensated me. What is the name of that station?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
WINB.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
W-I-N-B. W as in...
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
W-I-N-B.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
W-I-N as in Nelly?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
N as in Nelly. B as in boy.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
W-I-N-B. And where is that on the dial?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
It is 13.570 frequency.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Read that again.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
WINB, 13.570 frequency, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
That is three times a day. Eastern Standard Time?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Eastern Standard Time.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
That is eastern, of course. That is not over here. That is in Africa, right? India?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
The United States.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Oh, it is the United States, but it goes everywhere, right? Okay, it is right here in the USA. Good old USA. I have so many stations, I did not even know what they are talking about. It said the UK, did it not?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
That is where this is from.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
This station covers the United States, Europe, and part of Africa.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Yes, it is.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Okay, so it is Africa as well then?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Yes, it is.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Okay. What else?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
He says, “Please let us know what has happened, as we miss this so much. We have also given out all the leaflets and material you sent us.”
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Okay. We will get back to them on the telephone or email and tell them the new times.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
We did.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
You did? All right. Well, you deserve another popsicle. What else?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
“People are asking us for more. We are waiting for delivery. Bless you all there.” John from Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Okay. Good. More than?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
That is all I have.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
That is okay. Now let’s go with the message of How to Have God’s Life Living in You, part 93.
Even after we have consecrated ourselves unto the Lord and have followed the Lord in the way of consecration, that means we begin living at the cross. That means you have donated, you have given your whole self to Christ as a gift because He bought you. You say, “Lord, I now admit that You bought me with Your blood. Otherwise, I would not be saved now. Therefore, it is only my reasonable duty to surrender my entire life over to You at the cross.”
In essence, we are no longer ourselves when we go to the cross. We give up the ownership of ourselves and give ownership to the Lord.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
So we no longer own ourselves. Because we have given ourselves as a gift to Him, we have now given Him the authority to use us in whichever way He wants. He said that He wants us to go to the cross and die out to our own life there, and to surrender everything to the Lord to use as He will. It is His will, and it is not ours anymore.
Whatever He tells us to do, if He says, “Tony, get on the plane and go to Africa,” then I have to go to Africa. If He says, “Go to India,” or someplace else, then I have to go. I never wanted to go to Africa, because I do not like heat that much, and I hear it is very hot over there, especially if it is humid. But if the Lord said to go there, I have no say in it. I belong to Him. I am His to do with what He wants.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
So when we go to the cross, we die out to our own life, and He enters into us and gives us His new life, eternal life. The power and the wisdom of God are ours then, so long as we continue on not sinning to the end. If we sin ignorantly, we have an advocate with the Father by His Son, Christ Jesus. In other words, we can say, “Father, we ignorantly sinned, and we are not going to do it anymore.” That means if we repent.
But if we try to tell everybody that we now do not have to do anything Christ did, that is a lie. If we say we can just sin, that is a lie. I do not want you to believe it. God does not want you to believe it either, because if you do, you are going to wind up in hell.
If you think the Lord saved you to get a new car, a new house, or to send your kids to college, that shows me you have not read the Bible. The Bible tells you that He did not save you to have a new car or have a very good day, as Joyce Meyer tells you. What does she say in her preaching? “Enjoying Everyday Life.” There is no such thing in Christ. It is not everyday life. There is something new every day. I do not see that in the Bible at all. She is preaching false doctrine. One sinner destroys many people’s souls. She acts so smug and everything, but she is a false prophet.
It is the same thing with T.D. Jakes: “Have fun, fun, fun. How do you know about the world unless you get out there and live it?” Sometimes the Lord does tell you to do something, and a lot of people might think it is sin, but if you are following what the Lord said, that is different. Do not think the Lord has told you to do something that is against His Word.
If you think the Lord is telling you to do something and you do not know whether it is the Lord or not, call me. Tell me what it is, and I will counsel you, because most people do not have a very strong relationship with the Lord as I do. Call and tell me what your vision was or your dream, or email me. I will answer it personally.
Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
We begin living at the cross, and that means...
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
We begin having new life at the cross. We die there. We are no longer ourselves. We are now the Lord’s, and He starts representing Himself in us and through us.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
We die there and find our life in our consecration there.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Consecration means we have surrendered our entire life over to the Lord, and we only do what He says to do. He says to obey those who have the rule over you, and that is not the Antichrist.
When God gave the rule of this whole earth over to Adam and Eve, that was conditional. They had to believe Him. He gave them rules and regulations and what not to do. He said, “In the day that you eat from that tree, you will surely die.” That was a promise. So they did.
When Eve disbelieved God and believed Satan in her head, Adam went along with it, because he figured God was going to kill her and he did not want to be without her. She was the only woman on earth. What am I going to do without my woman? “Lonely days and lonely nights, what am I going to do without my woman?” That is the Bee Gees thing, right?
Instead of believing that God could raise up another woman, he just went ahead and said, “Oh well,” and bit from the fruit. With that kind of “oh well” attitude, for sure you are never going to heaven.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
No.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
We need the commitment of unceasing consecration.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Yes, unceasing obedience to the Lord. No matter if you feel you are going to do without your woman or your man, or whatever. Maybe your husband does something so wrong that he has to be put out of the church, because the book of Revelation tells you in the eleventh chapter to measure people by the Word of God, and if they do not measure up to the Word, put them outside the church. Put them outside with the dogs, the pigs, and the tantrums.
When you do that, now the Antichrist government says, “That is evil. They are judging people with their own judgment.” But that is the judgment of the Lord.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
God is not going to help you if you obey Antichrist and disobey Him. You are not going to be helped by the Lord.
Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
We need also the constraint of His love in order that we are able to touch Christ.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Yes, we need to receive the love of God into us, the same personality God has. You cannot say, “I hate this person. I hate this person.” It is your sister.
We had a couple of people. One of them was mowing the lawns at one of the locations of our churches. One person asked if he could go to the dishroom, and I said, “Well, if he wants to.” But they did not get the whole message from me. They told him he had to go to the dishroom. He said, “My God, if I have to go to the dishroom, I am leaving this ministry. I am going.” So I told the sisters in the office to tell him that he did not have to go to the dishroom. I do not put people in jobs that they absolutely do not want to do.
Even though the first thing I learned when I was a Christian was that whatever the Lord tells you to do, if you belong to the Lord, and whatever those who have the rule over you tell you to do, you do it. If you have a complaint, say, “Look, I am mowing the lawns here and there is nobody else who will do it, and I will be glad to go anywhere you tell me.”
That is just what Buster says all the time. He did not want to go to Africa or India, but he has gone. He says, “Whatever you say, because the Lord told me to obey you.” Every place I have sent him has been a wonderful blessing because I have nobody else whose opinion I would trust. He has been around pastors, businessmen, and everything. He understands warehousing, trucking, and all kinds of things like that. He understands business, and he understands the Lord very well, so I can send him places.
But some people get upset. Susie told me when I was first saved, and I have said this before, there was a person, and we were all using one bathroom. This guy would go in and leave a big ring of scum around the tub and not clean it out. I said, “Susie, tell that dude to clean that tub, will you?” She said, “Now, Tony, you go in there and clean it.” I said, “What for?” And I said, “He is using my brush, and it is giving me dandruff.”
She said, “Look, Tony, you are supposed to be dead right now. Just receive it and go in and clean the tub. God has a big ministry for you. That man is never going to be anything in the Lord. He is always going to be broke. He is always going to have these problems. God is going to lift you up really high.”
So I went in and washed the tub and cleaned the brush after he used it. Sure enough, he fell away in a couple of weeks, and I never had to be bothered with that slob again. The Lord did exalt me. He lifted me up and took me on many different levels above that man and many other people in this world.
That is the way to be. Do not murmur and complain about whatever you are asked to do. If there is a problem with it, say so. I had this man who had bad feet. He was standing in water in there, and he had to get out because his feet were getting all corrupted. Why, I have no idea. He should have had rubber boots or asked for them, but he did not. That is the way it goes. If you belong to the Lord, do not refuse to do anything He wants you to do.
Okay. Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
We need also the constraint of His love in order that we are able to touch Christ, and that His sweetness touches us, so that as it touches us, we are able to let Christ represent Himself in and through us.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
If you are bitter and always feeling sorry for yourself, then your eyes are focused on yourself and not the Lord, and you never get healed. If you really want to get healed, focus on the Lord and on helping others, and the Lord will help you. That is the way it works. That is the way it says in the Bible.
Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Sometimes when we consecrate ourselves, if we are not totally dead, if we are not totally on the altar, the consecrated one will sometimes suffer pain, and they will even suffer loss. But only those who frequently let the love of God touch them will be able to find sweetness in their pain. The early apostles were very much despised and imprisoned. They considered their consecration, their suffering, and all the things that they suffered a glorious thing and a joyful thing.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Glad. I mean, you do not want to go to prison, but when you go there, you just praise and thank the Lord, because you know God has entrusted you with a prison ministry to go in there. There is always something new there, and there is life in prison. You get lonesome for your loved ones, and that is the worst part. But you know that it is for the Lord.
Okay. Then what else?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
They considered their consecration, their suffering, and all the things that they suffered a glorious thing and a joyful thing, since they were deemed worthy to be insulted for the Lord and persecuted for the Lord’s worthy name, Acts chapter 5, verses 40 through 41.
The martyrs throughout the generations could always joyfully accept the suffering of death, and they were not willing to forsake the Lord’s name, because they had touched the sweetness of the Lord, and the Lord’s sweetness had touched them, and they had been constrained by His love.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
Or they were just overwhelmed with His love. You do not know why you love Jesus. You have to read the Bible to know why you should love Him. He is just unbelievable. His love is past knowledge. The only knowledge we really have in the world is the Word of God and the words the Lord has given others, their testimonials, and the things the Lord has given them to write and to preach.
Okay. Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
The love between us and the Lord, therefore, must always be regenerated on a daily basis.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
In other words, renewed. We have to start out each day as though it is our last, and make sure that the Holy Spirit is working in and through you. It is Christ. It is the Father by the Spirit, because you do not know that you are going to live another day.
The kind of condition you are in, the kind of opinions you have, and everything else will go right up before the throne of God the minute breath is taken out of you. You know that the attitude you presently have would not go into heaven if it is corrupt, because heaven allows no corrupt thing in. If you are corrupt right now and the breath goes out of you, you would be corrupt when you are in heaven. The difference between heaven and hell, or heaven and earth and the grave, is just one breath away, one heartbeat away.
You can go out now. So you have to renew your commitment to the Lord on a daily basis, and all throughout the day. You have to make yourself do it, because it will not happen naturally. Everything with the Lord is supernatural.
Okay. Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
The motive of love must be maintained in us in order for our consecration and service to always be fresh and sweet. To wind this up, a stable and intense supernatural consecration requires these two items. One item is to have a basis, a reason; that is, to realize that you and I, by ourselves, have been bought by God, that you and I belong to Him, and that if we want to be consecrated and go to heaven, we must give ourselves to Him in such a way.
The other reason is to have a motive; that is, to see that the love of the Lord God toward us is indeed very great and very big, and that this love constrains you and me so that we will willingly consecrate ourselves to Him.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
When you know the Lord loves you and likes you, and you know that heaven’s door is open at the moment, keep yourself that way by obeying Him. The Lord loves you because you are touched by the reason or the basis that He bought you, and then also the motive, that you can feel that the doors of heaven are open because He loves you. He pours His love into you and lets you know that you are saved and have eternal life.
Okay. Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Many people who are Christians today do not have any idea what the meaning of consecration is. So I am going to tell you. When a person is able to understand the reason for consecrating themselves, and when they become able to understand the motive of why they should consecrate themselves, then they should be willing to consecrate themselves to the Lord, to God.
You may ask, what is consecration? What is the meaning? Why should we be consecrated? Is it scriptural? Is it important?
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
The Bible tells us that we live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the living God. So every word is important.
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
Amen.
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
To receive and do it. Then what?
Speaker 2 – Sharon:
So here is some of the Word of God. Romans 12, verse 1, tells us, “I beseech you therefore, brethren...” Brethren are those who really believe the Word of God. “By the mercies of God...” The mercies of God are that He died for us, and then He shows us what we must do in order to maintain our salvation. “...to present your bodies a living sacrifice.”
By this verse, the Bible shows us that the meaning of consecration is for us to be a living sacrifice unto God. Then you may ask, what does that scripture mean, to be His sacrifice? What does that mean?
Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:
What you ask is a sacrifice. That is what the meaning of a sacrifice is. In the Old Testament, the burnt offerings tell of people who have sin on their souls. They bring a sacrifice from their field, or an animal, and they take it before the priest. The priest cuts its neck off. When they cut the neck off, the head comes off too, and it is dead. They cut the hide off and cut it into pieces.
When they cut the sacrifice, it dies. Its life is not the same as it was. It is not in its stall any longer. It is not in the field any longer. Its frolicking days are over. That is how it is when we give ourselves to the Lord. Our frolicking days are over. The way we lived before is over. The way we laughed before is over. The things we laughed at before are over.
I see that our time is over right now, and I have to end this service. We will continue on in tomorrow’s service, which will be part 94.
Before I leave you today, God wants you to give your life unto Him. The way you start doing that is a progression. The first thing you do is say the sinner’s prayer so that the Spirit of God can enter into you with the Father, with the Lord Jesus. Then you are born again, and you have the power to do a work and to obey the Lord.
Right now, let’s say this prayer so you can be saved and so you can be honored by the Lord. This world needs to be saved. We pray that there will be more laborers, because the harvest, the time of the Lord, is at hand, and there are few laborers.
Say this prayer and become one of the laborers. Say unto the Lord:
My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, and I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. I open the door of my heart, and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. Wash all my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed for me on the cross at Calvary.
You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus. You will save my soul. I know because Your Word says so. Your Word says that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Lord, this is a promise, and You always keep Your promises. Therefore, I know You have heard me, and I know You have answered me, and I know I am saved. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul.
Raise your hands and praise and thank the Lord. Thank You, Jesus. Praise You, Father. Thank You, Holy Spirit.
Keep thanking and praising the Lord and searching the scriptures, so that you will know the difference between the truth and lies. Right now, Sharon, tell them how they can receive a copy of this tape, audio tape, or audio CD. Please specify which one. It is completely free of charge, and the postage and handling is handled by us too. All right, tell them.
