Ep228, How To Have Gods Life Living In You, Part 126, Kingdom Thinking: Repentance, Spiritual Dominion, and Living as Christ’s Body on Earth

Repentance as a Complete Change of Direction

Tony Alamo presents repentance as a 180-degree turn away from worldly ideas and toward what he calls Kingdom thinking. He argues that personal opinion, majority rule, democratic reasoning, and religious tradition cannot determine spiritual truth. In his teaching, only God is right, and believers must replace their previous mindset with the language, values, and commands of Scripture. The episode repeatedly describes the Bible as the source through which a person learns to think, speak, and live according to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Letters Describing International Evangelism

Sharon reads correspondence from Nigeria, India, and Ghana describing the distribution of newsletters, Messiah books, Bibles, and other religious materials. The Nigerian letter reports a village crusade, 18 baptisms, literature distributed at a school ceremony, and opposition from a Catholic community. The Indian letter describes pastors, village meetings, orphaned children, open-air preaching, and requests for English Messiah books and Telugu Bibles. The Ghana letter requests copies of a newsletter called “Dry Bones” and a personal Bible.

The Body of Christ and Warnings Against Persecution

Alamo teaches that believers collectively form the Body of Christ and that persecution directed against Christians is therefore directed against Christ. He uses Jesus’ confrontation with Saul as the central biblical example and applies it to people, families, churches, and government officials who oppose his ministry. He also recounts the death of an unnamed Los Angeles official who had resisted the ministry’s real-estate activities and interprets it as judgment. These claims are presented as the speaker’s testimony and religious interpretation rather than independently established facts.

Christ’s Words, the Father’s Work, and Bible Study

The sermon cites passages from John in which Jesus says He speaks what the Father taught Him, does the Father’s work, and reveals the Father through His words and miracles. Alamo applies those passages to believers, arguing that they should restrain independent speech and allow God to speak and act through them. He compares Scripture to a hard shell containing spiritual nourishment that can be reached only through sustained study. Bible reading, prayer, obedience, and practical action are described as necessary for receiving spiritual power and understanding.

Putting Faith into Practical Action

Alamo insists that religious learning has little value unless it produces action. He urges listeners to feed the poor, provide food and drink even to enemies, visit prisoners and hospital patients, preach the Gospel, and respond to suffering in the world. He contrasts these duties with the pursuit of larger homes, cars, money, and personal convenience. The episode also discusses Pentecost, the Holy Spirit, spiritual temptation, overcoming the flesh, and believers continuing Christ’s work through His Spirit living within them.

Kingdom Citizenship and the Salvation Prayer

The conclusion describes believers as representatives of the government of Heaven who must embody its heart, mind, will, and purposes on earth. Alamo rejects suicide, adultery, fornication, and worldly lust as incompatible with Kingdom thinking and warns repeatedly about Hell and the Lake of Fire. He then leads listeners through a salvation prayer affirming belief in Jesus’ death and resurrection, asking Christ to enter the heart, and promising a complete change in thought and conduct. Sharon closes with the ministry’s contact information and instructions for obtaining a free copy of program 228.

Kingdom Thinking: Repentance, Spiritual Dominion, and Living as Christ’s Body on Earth

Speaker Identification

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo, Host and Preacher

The principal speaker identifies the installment as Part 126 of How to Have God’s Life Living in You and program number 228. He introduces the music, delivers the sermon, comments on the letters and Scripture readings, leads the opening prayer and salvation prayer, and closes the broadcast.

Speaker 2 – Sharon, Reader and Program Assistant

Tony Alamo identifies Sharon by name. She reads correspondence from Nigeria, India, and Ghana, presents portions of the prepared sermon manuscript and Bible quotations, and gives the ministry’s contact information at the end.

Speaker 3 – Prerecorded Gospel Vocalist and Backing Singers

The opening musical selection is identified as “Run On.” Tony Alamo says he recorded it with J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet. The principal vocal therefore appears to be Tony Alamo, with J.D. Sumner and the Stamps providing backing vocals, although the exact recording credits should be verified.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents

One or more unidentified people occasionally respond with “Amen.” Their individual identities cannot be determined from the transcript.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Hello again. This is World Pastor Tony Alamo.

We are in Part 126 of How to Have God’s Life Living in You. This is program number 228.

You may order a copy free of charge. Postage and handling are also free. At the end of the program, Sharon will tell you how to order and receive it.

We have letters today and a continuation of the message concerning how to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. That is what we are preaching.

I recorded several albums with J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet. I recorded this particular selection at Johnny Cash’s studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee. I recently remastered it at Capitol Records in the Capitol Tower on Vine Street.

The song is called “Run On.” We will play it now. If you compare my voice with Rovon’s, I think you will hear a significant difference.

All right, go ahead.

Speaker 3 – Prerecorded Gospel Vocalist and Backing Singers:

[“Run On” is performed. The clearly audible refrain warns that a person may continue wrongdoing for a long time, but sooner or later God will “cut you down.” The verses address liars, gamblers, backbiters, hypocritical churchgoers, adultery, secrecy, and the belief that hidden conduct will eventually be exposed. Much of the automated lyric transcription is too distorted for reliable verbatim reconstruction.]

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

You could hardly hear J.D. Sumner in the background singing the low responses. I love that song.

We have received many orders for that song and album, which is now available on CD in Africa.

I wish people there life in the Lord. We have a large work in Africa. I say the Lord has us invading Africa with the Kingdom of Heaven.

Buster and his wife are there now, preaching the Kingdom of God. The congregation has already tripled in the few days he has been there.

Now let’s go to the throne of the living God and ask the Lord to anoint this service.

Father, You always pour out Your Spirit upon me. Lord, anoint me as You anointed Jesus when He was baptized in the Jordan River and the Spirit descended upon Him like a dove.

Let every word that comes out of my mouth today be directly from You. Jesus said the words He spoke were not His own, but the Father’s, and the deeds He performed were the Father’s deeds.

The Apostle Paul said he labored more abundantly than the other apostles, yet it was not he, but the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit living in him.

Lord, live in me so that souls may be saved and the Church may be delivered from harm. Protect those in this service. Protect Buster in Africa, where he says people are living in conditions almost like Hell on earth, minus the fire.

People there hold many conflicting opinions. Lord, make a great and mighty move so that Africa may be covered with the Gospel and with the blood of Jesus.

Let those suffering souls be saved. Let resources reach the poor children and people affected by wars. We ask You to stop those whom the speaker identifies as forces from Rome that incite people against one another.

We pray for Israel. Undertake for the land You gave to the Jews. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.

According to my interpretation, You gave that land to Israel and intended the world to allow the Jewish people to live there. When someone becomes too aggressive against them, I believe You will bring judgment.

Before that happens, let those people be saved, because it is not Your will that anyone go to Hell. It is Your will that people be saved, regardless of what they have done.

Bring immediate help, Lord. Do not allow the conflict to continue. I believe You gave that land to Israel and not to the Arabs or anyone else. You bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel.

Beware, people of the world.

Lord, we ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus.

Everyone says amen.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

People of the world may run on for a long time, but I believe God Almighty will soon cut them down.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Where is the first letter from?

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

Nigeria.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Nigeria is in Africa. Praise the Lord. We are there strongly. What does the letter say?

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“Dear Pastor Alamo:

“May mercy, grace, and peace be multiplied unto you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

“It is wonderful to note the great impact your literature is having on people in my area, the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

“Most people say your messages come directly from God and are unfiltered and undiluted.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

They are directly from God. These tapes are from God.

“The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand” was the Lord’s first message: “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

Repentance means you are traveling in one direction and must make a complete 180-degree turn and begin going the Lord’s way—the way of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Everyone on the face of the earth is wrong, and only God is right.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“As a distributor of your literature, I am particularly grateful to God for knowing you through my brother and fellow laborer, Doug. May the Lord bless the day I met you and him.

“Last Wednesday, we conducted a crusade at Rumuasi village. We distributed approximately three boxes of your literature and saw many souls converted to the Kingdom of our Lord.

“We took 18 of them to the [river name unclear] for water baptism. Afterward, we directed them to churches in that community for continued fellowship because we do not currently have a church there.

“Many pastors were grateful to receive copies of the literature. Many asked for additional copies for evangelism and their congregations.

“We gave them the address of the international office in America. Many promised to write to express their gratitude and request more materials. We could see from their expressions that they felt fortunate to receive the newsletters.

“Your ministry here also received an invitation from the final-year students of [school name unclear] Community Secondary School in Rivers State, Nigeria.

“We thanked God for the invitation and attended with approximately one and a half boxes of literature and newsletters. We distributed them among the students, teachers, and guests.

“We thank the Most High for using us through your ministry to reach people and help make the world a better place.

“We love you, sir. Continue the good work, and remember us in your prayers.

“Please remember me in particular because I am facing significant persecution in my home because of our message of repentance to the Catholic community.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Yes. People are deeply committed to democratic thinking.

Democracy says people may do their own thing. We support rights, freedom of speech, and the freedom to use personal will because the Lord allows people to exercise their will.

However, I say those principles were taken from the Bible and incorporated into democracy, which began with the Greeks. Democracy is not God’s complete plan for humanity.

Democracy means “we, the people.” A king does not rule; the majority votes for presidents, governors, and other officials.

The problem, in my view, is that the majority is usually wrong. In a kingdom, only the king is right. In the Kingdom of Heaven, only God is right, and personal opinions do not determine truth.

The same problem occurs in churches. Some pastors begin with the truth of the Word of God, then start splitting hairs and saying, “We believe it this way,” or, “We interpret it that way.”

In the Kingdom of Heaven, private opinion amounts to nothing. The Bible says Scripture is not a matter of private interpretation. It means what it says.

Your opinion and my opinion do not govern the Kingdom. Only the will and Word of God are supreme.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

I say Catholic doctrine, Buddhist teaching, Islamic teaching, and every other religious opinion amount to zero when they contradict the Word of God.

Whether or not another church does it, this church will be a lighthouse for the Lord. His Word is supreme and is the only Word that is right.

All human wisdom is nothing compared with God. Even what could hypothetically be called God’s foolishness would be wiser than all human thinking and opinion.

Even people in this church sometimes begin entertaining thoughts that, in my view, the devil plants in their minds. People become so accustomed to living in a democratic republic that they forget the Lord calls them to change direction.

You are traveling down a highway in one direction, and God tells you to think differently. You must change your thinking immediately.

Regarding eternal life and spiritual truth, I say everything you have learned from the world is wrong.

You have been trained to think democratically and republicanly, with everyone deciding personally what is right and wrong. But there is only one right way and many wrong ways.

If you want to belong to God’s Kingdom, you have to think as God thinks. You must turn 180 degrees and begin going His way.

No one in any church—not me, not you, and not anyone else—has authority to invent what to believe or how to live. God is King. He is supreme. He rules and reigns.

Personal opinion amounts to nothing in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

You have to believe God, or you will not be in His Kingdom.

He says, “Change your thinking. Change your mind. I want to change your heart. I want to put My laws and My words in your heart. Speak My words.”

I say the world has taught people error from birth, while God wants them to know what is right. You must read the Bible.

I see the New King James Version and television ministers promoting it. In my view, many of those people are heretics.

Many of them teach “once saved, always saved”—that a person may continue sinning after salvation because God supposedly covers past, present, and future sins automatically.

I call that a lie. The Bible compares returning to sin with a dog returning to its vomit or a washed sow returning to wallow in the mire.

I interpret Scripture to say that if a person is filled with the Spirit, washed in the blood of Jesus, and then deliberately returns to a sinful life, there may remain no further repentance or sacrifice for that person.

You must think according to that warning. Otherwise, a Baptist, Catholic, or another religious teacher may tell you that you can continue sinning.

Eve believed Satan’s claim that death would not follow disobedience. People say God is good and would never send anyone to Hell.

I disagree. Go to a graveyard. It is filled with people, and more land is continually needed for burials. People do die.

If Eve had not believed Satan, humanity would not have lost its dominion. God gave humanity rulership over the earth, but mankind lost it until Jesus came and refused everything Satan told Him to do.

Jesus came with Kingdom thinking. He rejected the opinions and ways of the world.

People were shocked and asked, “What kind of speech is this? Where did this man get these words? Everything He does is different from what we do on earth.”

Jesus said, “My Kingdom is not of this world.”

He taught that people must be born again of the Spirit. Religion cannot save a soul. The Father and Son must live within a person by the Spirit.

You must receive His words, pray, and pray without ceasing.

If you reject that, you are not thinking according to the Kingdom. You are thinking according to worldly democracies and republics.

There are democracies and republics throughout the world. There are also constitutional monarchies, such as the United Kingdom and Canada, where the monarch has limited authority.

I also condemn what I call the one-world government, which I believe destroys millions of human beings while attempting to establish its system.

The Lord says people are not to murder. I say such systems knowingly kill people.

I refer to what happened at Waco as an example. I claim that the United States government killed people there and then described some deaths among its own personnel as friendly fire. I also claim video evidence exists that supports my interpretation.

The Lord came with a different way. He said that those who live by the sword will die by the sword.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The Lord also warned people not to persecute His followers.

When Jesus confronted Saul, He said, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?”

Saul may have believed he was persecuting individual Christians, but Christ is the Head of the Body, and believers are His Body. Therefore, persecuting Christ’s people is, in the speaker’s interpretation, persecuting Christ Himself.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

If you persecute me, I say you are persecuting Christ.

I warn government officials and others who oppose believers that God’s judgment will be far more severe than anything they presently imagine.

A man in Los Angeles government who opposed us in our real-estate efforts recently died, according to information given to me. We were trying to build suitable facilities for believers, whom I identify as members of Christ’s Body.

If believers are His Body, then opposing them means opposing Him.

People trained in democratic or republican thinking may not understand that. They must begin thinking according to the Kingdom.

Do not persecute Christians, because Christ asked, “Why do you persecute Me?”

Be careful when you persecute people who belong to Christ. He is the Head, they are His Body, and He lives in them.

Let’s finish the letter.

A person’s heart and mind must change. You need a new mindset directed toward the Kingdom of Heaven.

You must talk, walk, and live as a person of the Kingdom. You cannot continue treating personal opinion as supreme. You have to receive what the Lord says and live accordingly.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

All right, close the letter.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“We love you, sir. Keep up the good work.

“Sincerely yours,
“Pastor Herald, Rivers State, Nigeria.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

You should tell your family, or whoever is persecuting you because of this message, what Scripture says.

Show them the passages in which the Lord calls believers His people, His Body, His Church, His Bride, and the New Jerusalem.

They should be careful, because they are interfering with eternal matters.

I heard a preacher discussing this subject on television tonight. It was Frederick Price’s son. He presented many Scriptures about the Body of Christ.

After hearing this letter, I thought it was useful to pass that teaching along. When someone preaches a good message, I acknowledge it.

Where is the next letter from?

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

India.

“Most honored World Pastor Tony Alamo:

“Greetings to you, your family, and your ministry in the wonderful name of Jesus.

“I am very glad to inform you that we received your newsletters, Messiah books, and letters.

“I read your kind letters prayerfully, understood their contents, and glorified our Lord Jesus Christ.

“‘Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.’ Third John, verse 2.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Before continuing, I want to return briefly to the New King James Version.

I say many television ministers who promote altered Bible versions also teach “once saved, always saved,” as though God will forgive any number of deliberate sins after conversion.

But Scripture says a person who practices sin is of the devil. I did not want to overemphasize that earlier, but I want the point included.

Go ahead.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“I am very happy to receive your spiritual materials so I can grow in the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Your materials are useful in my church and among the 75 pastors connected with me.

“I distributed the newsletters to members of my church and to others who hunger and thirst for the Word of God.

“I enclosed photographs for your information.

“I also distributed newsletters among the orphaned children in my care. The children read the newsletters and share them with their teachers at school.

“We prayed over your materials when we received the mail.

“Forty orphaned children live at my home. We feed them physically and spiritually. These children lost their parents in cyclones and floods that struck my state.

“We need gracious support for the children. I trust and believe that, in the days to come, they will grow into good soldiers for Christ and proclaim the Word of God.

“Under my leadership, approximately 75 to 80 pastors are doing the Lord’s work in different parts of the state.

“Many pastors visit villages, distribute your newsletters, conduct open-air meetings, and baptize people in water.

“Every month, we conduct pastors’ meetings at our headquarters church, share the Word of God, and pray for the ministry.

“I have enclosed photographs for your information.

“We are independently doing the Lord’s work by faith, and we request support for the pastors and their families.

“Respected man of God, we believe you are a genuine spiritual pastor. Your newsletters and the Messiah book touch hearts through the Spirit.

“We need 120 Messiah books in English for pastors, deacons, ministers, and other leaders in this Hindu nation who are anxious to read the book.

“Please also help us obtain Telugu Bibles.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

We need to determine how close Buster is to these people so that he can visit and verify the circumstances.

If the report is accurate, our church will provide substantial support. If they are genuine believers, I regard our church and their church as one and the same.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“Respected sir, we are all praying for you, your family, and your dynamic ministries throughout the world.

“We are extending your ministry here in India. We warmly welcome you and your team to visit and encourage us.

“Once again, thank you for your newsletters. We send our love and greetings to you, your family, and all the precious saints there.

“Yours in Christ’s love,
“Pastor Samuel, [location unclear], Andhra Pradesh, India.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Are there any more?

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

One more, from Ghana.

“Beloved Pastor Alamo:

“The newsletters you sent are very good and are winning souls in my area, especially the ‘Dry Bones’ newsletter.

“Please send approximately 30 copies of that newsletter and a Holy Bible for my personal use.

“Thank you very much. May the good God bless you. Your newsletters are making a great difference here in Ghana.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Praise the Lord. Is that all?

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

Yes.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Now, Sharon, let’s continue reading How to Have God’s Life Living in You and how to become a member of the commonwealth of the Kingdom of God.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the One I claim to be and that I do nothing on My own, but speak just what the Father has taught Me.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

That is how we have to live.

Jesus says, in effect, “I want you to be like Me. I want to live in you with the Father by the Spirit, so that what you say comes from the Father and from Me rather than from your independent self.”

No human being can bring people to repentance without the Lord God and the Spirit of God.

God is Spirit. I prefer the term Holy Spirit rather than Holy Ghost.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“The One who sent Me is with Me. He has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.” John, chapter 8, verses 28 through 29.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The Father transferred that instruction and ministry to the Lord, and Jesus said He transfers His commandments to us.

When we receive the message that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand—near and already arrived—He wants us to build upon it by receiving Him, with the Father by the Spirit, into ourselves.

We must make a 180-degree turn and recognize, according to my teaching, that what we previously knew has no spiritual value compared with the Kingdom of Heaven.

Only what God says and does has lasting value. We must turn and begin moving in His direction.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

Jesus said, “Do not believe Me unless I do what My Father does.” John, chapter 10, verse 37.

He also said, “I did not speak of My own accord, but the Father who sent Me commanded Me what to say and how to say it. I know that His command leads to eternal life. Therefore, whatever I say is just what the Father has told Me to say.” John, chapter 12, verses 49 through 50.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The Lord says believers must speak in the same manner. Anything apart from His Word has no eternal value.

It is better to restrain your own speech and allow the Lord to speak to you and through you. Jesus did not constantly chatter.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

Another passage the Lord wants transferred to us says:

“Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

“Do you not believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is in Me? The words I say to you are not just My own. Rather, it is the Father living in Me who is doing His work.

“Believe Me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The Word of God can seem hard, almost like something enclosed in a shell.

To reach its depths, you have to study until the Word becomes fully known in your heart and soul.

When you understand it, there is what I describe as nectar or spiritual life within it. The Spirit of God comes through the Word and fills you with power.

You do not break through that outer shell without searching.

Scripture says it is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Studying the Bible is necessary to receive its fullness and power. The Lord knows when you are studying and when you are not.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

Paraphrasing the passage: “I tell you the truth: Anyone who has faith in Me and trusts Me will do what I have been doing.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Read that again. Anyone who does what?

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“Anyone who has faith in Me and trusts Me.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Anyone who has faith in and trusts the Word of God.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“Will do what I have been doing.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

In other words, believers are to do what Jesus did.

He allowed the Holy Spirit to lead Him wherever He went. The Spirit took Him into the wilderness, where He fasted for 40 days. Then He came out preaching the Kingdom of Heaven.

That is what He wants us to do.

He wants us to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, seek God and His righteousness, and trust that what is necessary for ministry will be provided.

He never said to serve the Lord merely to obtain a larger car or house. Material needs may be provided, but He wants people to see the suffering in the world and act.

What we read and learn has no value unless we put it into action.

If He says to feed the poor, feed them. If He says to give food and drink even to an enemy who is hungry or thirsty, do it.

If He says to visit people in prison and hospitals, do it.

Very few people will do those things because they place work, money, and other apparent needs first. We do need practical resources, but I believe receiving them becomes easier when we first do what the Lord commands.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The world needs the true Word of God.

What motivates me is not only that the Lord commands me, but that I see so much heresy preached on television and radio.

Occasionally, I hear a good message, but I believe the majority are bad.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

“He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” John, chapter 14, verses 9 through 12.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The Lord says that when we turn around, we stop living by our opinions, ideas, and will.

The Apostle Paul turned immediately when the Lord confronted him and asked, “Why are you persecuting Me?”

Paul understood that the Lord was identifying Himself with the people Paul was persecuting.

Jesus said, “As much as you have done it unto the least of My people, you have done it unto Me.”

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

They were persecuting Jesus through His people.

Jesus has work to do in this world. He wants to do it in me, and He also wants to do it in you.

He cannot do that unless you believe, receive, and have genuine faith in what He says.

He does not want you living merely according to the democratic Republic of the United States, the one-world government, or other worldly instructions.

Everyone would ultimately benefit if people did what the Lord says.

That can be called defiance of the one-world government, because I believe that system receives its power from the great red dragon, the devil.

But obeying the Lord does not mean harming people. He does not tell believers to use carnal weapons, kill people, or throw bombs.

I accuse presidents of the United States of taking orders from the Pope in Rome and carrying out actions opposite to the Kingdom of Heaven.

I also accuse federal agencies, government officials, certain churches, and media organizations of serving the one-world government.

The Kingdom of Heaven is harmless. It wants every person—including presidents, monarchs, and ordinary citizens—to be saved and enter Heaven.

We are not preaching, “Believe as we do, or we will harm you.” I say worldly systems operate that way.

They can invent stories and repeatedly distribute them through media. You are not to believe those stories over the Lord.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

I say the media continually pumps the opinions of the Vatican and government into the general population.

Then people apply democratic thinking and say, “Let’s vote on what is right and wrong. Your opinions and ideas are valuable.”

President Bush, according to my account, contacted me approximately 17 times and requested my ideas about solving problems in the Middle East.

I said my personal opinion meant nothing, but I would tell him what I believed God said would happen.

I believed those leaders intended to place the Pope in the Holy Land, in Israel, and that he would eventually restrain forces associated with the Vatican that were stirring conflict in different countries.

Hell is not merely a profanity. I describe it as an actual place in the depths of the earth where people go if they refuse to make a 180-degree turn and adopt Kingdom thinking, speech, and conduct.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

Jesus wants to transfer these words and this way of living to believers.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Before you can speak differently, you have to think differently.

Before doing something different, you have to think about it. Put your mind in gear before putting your mouth into action.

It is like driving a car. You cannot remain in park. You have to decide whether to move in reverse or forward, place the car in gear, and look for obstacles.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

You need the Lord’s way of thinking, which is found in His Word.

I say the world’s spiritual instruction is wrong and has no value when a person stands before God’s judgment.

If you do not change your mind, change your way of walking and speaking, and put on the Lord by reading His Word, you will not enter the Kingdom.

You will face Hell and the Lake of Fire. Revelation says death and Hell will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

The terrible quality of that death, according to my teaching, is that it continues forever. A person wants to die but cannot. There is no hope, transfer, appeal, attorney, or pardon.

The Lord said it, and that is what He wants you to understand. Put it into your mind and let it remain there.

I used to say, “Let it stick in your brain like hair in a drain,” but even hair can be removed from a drain. This teaching has to remain more firmly than that.

Jesus said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The Father sent Jesus by the Spirit, and Jesus says He sends believers by the Spirit.

After Jesus entered a locked room, He told the disciples to receive the Holy Spirit and breathed upon them.

He also said He was not merely a spirit, but had flesh and bones. His blood had been offered to the Father as atonement for sins.

By faith, you can ask the Lord to cover you with His blood so that your former sins are washed away. You can invite Him into your heart and receive power to overcome.

First, you must overcome yourself and the lusts of the flesh.

The Bible speaks of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. I teach that none of those will bring a person into Heaven.

The lust of the flesh and eyes lead toward judgment, and pride comes before a fall.

Worldly lust has no eternal value.

It would be better to live simply—perhaps in a small cottage with a picket fence or vines—and read the Bible.

You may also come to church and study with us. We hold services every evening at 8:00 and twice on Sunday, at 3:00 and 8:00. We serve meals after each service.

If you want to serve the Lord with us, you may move in. I say God has provided a place.

“With that, He breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.’”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

They received the Holy Spirit, but this occurred before the baptism or outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

Having the Spirit within them did not mean they needed nothing further for ministry.

They had to remain in Jerusalem and wait in the upper room until the Lord poured out the Holy Spirit upon them.

We have about five minutes left. Continue.

That was John, chapter 20, verses 21 through 22.

We are also ambassadors of the heavenly government, as Jesus was.

When He enters you, He wants to continue His work through you.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

We are the continuation of the Lord’s life and work on earth.

He completed His earthly life, but on the Day of Pentecost He came by the Spirit into the apostles and the approximately 120 people in the upper room.

Then 3,000 were saved, followed by 5,000 and many others. His Spirit entered them.

While Jesus walked on earth in one physical body, He was confined to time and space.

After completing the work of salvation and saying, “It is finished,” He gave up His spirit. I teach that He went into Hell for three days and nights and then rose from the dead in victory.

He conquered everything. First, He conquered His own flesh. He never committed sin, although He was tempted by everything in the world.

The power of God had baptized and filled Him with the Holy Spirit.

When you enter ministry, temptations and attacks will come against you. I have often felt there was no way I could have endured without the Spirit of God.

On a daily basis, I believe no one can withstand what Satan is doing to people without God’s Spirit.

People watch television, listen to radio, and read newspapers. They see distressing events and become so depressed that some seek death rather than face another day.

If you take your own life, I warn that you will face Hell. If you think suffering on earth is severe, I teach that suffering in Hell never ends.

You are not to murder anyone, including yourself. I regard suicide as a sin leading to death and Hell.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

We have to represent our government’s heart, soul, and mind—the Lord’s mind, will, purposes, and intentions—to the earth.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

You must have Kingdom-of-Heaven thinking.

You cannot entertain thoughts of suicide because that is not Kingdom thinking.

Speaker 4 – Congregation / Unidentified Respondents:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

You cannot entertain adultery or fornication because that is not Kingdom thinking.

You must bring yourself into the will of the Father. Otherwise, there is no way to enter Heaven or allow the Lord to work through you.

You must walk with Him.

I say worldly democracy and republicanism cannot bring a person into Heaven. Only the Kingdom of Heaven can do that.

You must think, act, speak, and walk according to the Kingdom of Heaven, and its thinking is expressed in God’s Word.

Speaker 2 – Sharon:

We have to represent our government’s heart, soul, and mind—the Lord’s mind, will, purposes, and intentions—to the earth so that His Kingdom may come and His will may be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Praise the Lord.

I am sorry to say that my time is up.

If you want His will to be done in your life as it is in Heaven, remember that there is a commonwealth in which you may become a participant.

Receive the Lord into your heart, allow your sins to be washed away, make a 180-degree turn, and begin walking toward Him.

That means everything changes.

I teach that God has already provided prosperity, healing, power to cast out devils, power to lay hands on the sick and afflicted, and eternal life.

To receive salvation, say this prayer to God and mean it with all your heart and soul:

“My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner.

“I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.

“I believe He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my filthy sins.

“I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus.

“Wash all my filthy sins away in the precious blood You shed for me.

“You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus. You will save my soul. I know because Your Word says so.

“Your Word says that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

“When I call upon You, I am telling You that I want to change my ways, my mind, and the way I think.

“I want to turn around and go Your way.

“I want to think as the Kingdom of Heaven thinks, believe what the Kingdom of Heaven believes, speak as You speak, teach as You teach, and preach as You preach.

“You will not turn me away because I am calling upon You.

“Your Word says all who call upon Your name shall be saved.

“Therefore, I know You have heard me. I know You have answered me, and I know I am saved.

“I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul.”

Raise your hands and praise and thank the Lord with all your heart and soul.
